CoinDCX Becomes First Crypto Brand To Sponsor Cricket Sports
Hello Cricket Lovers,
Cricket Sports is known for lucrative salary checks, awesome title sponsors and money making leagues such as Indian Premier League, Big Bash, Caribbean Premier League and County Cricket.
Cricket is treated as it's national sports in India with people giving their own feedback about the game, players and series and Indian captain, coach and selection team will be treated like gods when India comes home winning a series abroad.
The irony is, same people will treat these same people mentioned above like terrorists when they fail to win the series, because, just like all, Indians too hate losing a series.
That shouldn't disturb the Cricketers much because they know how to handle the stardom and also the rage of people.
There wasn't any involvement of Cryptocurrency so far either as payment or sponsorship as for as Cricket is concerned.
But, that's a history now with one of the T20 series between India and Sri Lanka being sponsored by India based Cryptocurrency brand CoinDCX to sponsor the title and it's now called as CoinDCX T20 Cup.
India and Cryptocurrency:
It might be worth noting that, Cryptos are still treated as something illegal in India although Reserve Bank of India and Supreme Court of India have facilitated and allowed Cryptocurrency trading in India, but it's still work in progress as for as making Cryptos more friendly in India.
Crypto lovers throughout India will be hoping that, this title sponsorship by CoinDCX will give themselves more exposure and also exposure to Cryptos as well as make them more popular to force Indian Government to facilitate the Crypto trading legal.
We might recall that, Indian Government had formed a committee with a high level team consisting of economists, senior politicians to asses the Cryptos in India and their report seems to be not yet out, but, off late, there are more positive signs about India accepting Cryptos and that's something we all Crypto lovers awaiting.
Crypto Exchanges in India:
Although Indian Government isn't making it clear yet about it's stance on making Cryptos legal in India, the Crypto exchanges started in India back in 2013 with ZebPay as the First Indian Crypto Exchange and since then, there have been few more like WazirX, CoinDCX, UnoCoin and CoinSwitch Kuber.
Out of these, CoinDCX, WazirX and ZebPay remains the most active ones.
WazirX co-founder Nischal Shetty has been the voice of Crypto lovers in India with his daily tweets about why India needs Crypto thru the tag #indiawantscrypto and we can see his thoughts and some valuable stats about why India should adopt Cryptos and make them legal.
No matter how many negative feedback is being spread across India, Indians are still investing and trading on Bitcoin and other Cryptos and seeing this, CoinDCX, Unocoin and CoinSwitch Kuber are offering Crypto trading directly using Indian Rupees.
These all makes the Crypto trading more exciting among the Indians especially youths as we see many young Hive Indian bloggers.
As an Indian Crypto lover and ofcourse Cricket lover too, I expect this new beginning of sponsoring by CoinDCX should go a long way to attract many early investors from India into Cryptos and also open the eyes of the Government like why they should consider legalizing the Cryptos with whatever rules they want to set.
