Euro 2020 Final Betting Results (110 Bets | 43W-58L-9P

After a full month of Euro 2020, the tournament now is over and it's time to take a closer look at the overall betting results...

Starting this tournament, I didn't really anticipate having an edge but I did make a plan to do some betting as I just enjoy it aside from the fact that betting has been my bread and butter for many years now covering the Belgian League. So the bankroll I put aside which was the maximum I was willing to lose was 2 units out of the +17 units profit I managed to make during the 2020-2021 Belgian Jupiler League Season (See Results)

Total Starting Bankroll at risk = 2 Units

Full Flat Stake being 0.2 Units

Medium Stake 0.15 Units

Small Stake 0.10 Units

Tiny Stake 0.05 Units

The start of the tournament went way better than planned with winners all over the place, especially on the bigger bets. From my experience, the early group stage provides the best opportunity to get an edge over the market which fades away as the teams play more matches giving pretty much everyone has all the info that is available. I pretty much had the same urges as everyone to bet the favorites and overs but managed to almost totally override this since I have quite some experience with betting in general. Reading the asian market moves also helped tremendously to avoid getting in bad spots and I kept most my stakes to a minimum.

While 110 bets is far too little to say anything, I can't complain having ended with a profit since I only won 43 bets Loing 58 of them. This is thanks to the Full Stake 0.2 unit bets going 4W-1L.

After the first 8 days, I was kicking myself for not having been a bit more daring setting aside a bigger bankroll when reaching a total of 0.832 units profit but there was no way I was going to change my staking plan. Instead, I grew more cautious as the group stage arrived and going 12 bets without a win and 10 losses I really locked things down in the final stages of the tournament.

Overall, I'm quite happy to walk away from the tournament in the green having had a lot of fun following. I will likely be more daring in the World Cup next year and am exponentially more confident that I'm profitable in betting the Belgian League where my stakes are a lot higher. This Saturday will be the first match with the Super Cup and I plan to stick to the same routine on making previews sharing my bets and views also keeping track of the betting results in a similar way that I have done these past 4 seasons hopefully again making some good profit along the way...
