Week 23 Results | 14W-28L-2P | -2.270 Units Loss

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

Week 23 was one of those weeks where pretty much nothing went right resulting in quite a big -2.27 unit loss overall. The good thing is that I'm not all too disappointed in the actual positions I got myself into as the biggest bet on Club Brugge showed a big closing line edge and some of the other bigger bets also easily could/should have won. For now, I take it just as really bad variance which is part of the game not needing to be an issue when zooming out.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2021-2022

All the pre-game bets and the crypto bets also ended up losing which got me down again on the season so far after having a really nice rebound recently. I had 5 pre-game selections and they want 0W-5.5L-0.5P so auch. While I'm slightly down on the season again at -1.418 units and -1.13%, the long-term record on them still looks very solid and I will not change anything to my overall approach.

Last season (See Final Results Post there were 236 of these selection which produced a whopping +30.594 units profit good for +12.96% ROI

I'm not really looking to get active agains anytime soon on Copytip since it is too hard with the limits as my own bets tend to drop the odds a bit and I have a rule where I never take odds that rebound. In case I do have bigger bets, I will share them also on the SBC Discord Channel the moment I get into them.

Season 2021-2022 Personal Betting Chart

I'm still up +2.79% on the season which is slightly below what I am expected to win but got a lot of the profit from the past 22 weeks wiped out which shows it can go quickly. I did have more bets mostly because I cost-averaged myself into positions in-game and spread the bets between different options pre-game. The overall chart still looks health and I'm hoping there will be another break above the pink expected line going forward even though I will likely get overly cautious again not willing to take bigger losses on positions.
