Week 28 Results | 20W-17L-7P | +1.872 Units Profit

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

The current uptrend continues now having a 5th winning week in a row also reaching a new season-high profit, so things are going pretty well overall as planned. I did get close to some jackpot situations where 1 goal would have made me a lot more profit on a specific match but so far these haven't really hit this season. On the other hand, there also were some matches where I could have lost some more and these things just tend to even out. Like they say in crypto, "when in doubt, zoom out" which is one of the main reasons why all that are more serious about sports betting should keep long-term statistics putting them into a graph. There is just very little hiding behind bad luck or other situations where things could have gone differently when you have a 5k+ bet sample.

The number of pre-game bets I'm taking which are highlighted in all the previews I'm making is picking up again as my overall grip on all the teams along with my confidence is growing. There were 9 selections last 7 days going 3W-3L-3P good for a minor -0.508 units. All season long, Pre-Game bets have been really hot while live betting (which often includes hedge positions to reduce variance) were lacking. Right now, the live bets are back in the green doing +2.11% on 568 bets. Overall there have been 193 bold pre-game selections which resulted in +13.82% for +26.669 units profit when counting them as flat 1 unit bets. There remains a gap between actually being able to bet all for 1 unit flat at the odds I took though and they should just be taken as information instead of actual betting recommendations.

I'm loving the chart right now and I guess making sure to reduce risk in-game on quite some positions (mainly unders) really does lower the variance a lot. Swings have been kept fairly low over the season with the worst downswing being 6 units (when you count the average bet size around 0.4 units it's more something in the range of 15 units which still is ok given the sheer number of bets I manage to pump out. My standard small bet size is now around 0.5 units but I do intend to increase it some more toward the end of the season since my bankroll can easily handle it. I'll see how I will go about it the coming weeks.

Things will get more to normal from now on as the regular season is slowly coming to an end. January and February were extremely busy and I'm glad I will have some breathing space with no matches on Tuesday and Wednesday. Fron Thursday to Monday, there will be more betting action and I will be back next Tuesday with another results update.
