Week 34 Results | 17W-11L-0P | +1.966 Units Profit

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

After 34 weeks, the regular season in the Belgian Jupiler League has finally come to a close and it was once again a fun ride making some decent profit in the process also ending in style gaining close to 2 units last weekend. The entire process of following the league, handicapping the matches trying to find an edge over the general betting market while blogging about it remains something I highly enjoy which certainly helps to make it all profitable now the 4th year in a row. I am planning to keep this general approach for the seasons to come also.

The only pre-game bet I ended up taking and highlighting in the previews lost by 1 corner but I couldn't have been more pleased with the overall results these pre-game bets produced during the entire season. The 222 bets combined each with flat 1 unit stakes showed a +21.37 unit profit good for +9.63% ROI. I certainly ran hot but the overall info was solid overall even though it's not as easy to fully duplicate it due to limits & moving odds on the betting markets.

I plan to keep this style highlighting pre-game bets I took keeping track with flat stakes and will also start including a lot more 'beer bets' taken on Decentralized Crypto Bookmakers. Right now, I am mostly using sportbet.one | Wagerr | Wink.org and I also have some investments in those as crypto projects because they are the ones that actually get me to the point that I use them. I did have 1 bet on Waasland-Beveren to win @ 4.51 taken on Wagerr highlighted in the Sunday Previews Post. It ended up as a nice winner.

Next season or maybe even during the playoffs already, I will start keeping track of these smaller beer bets aswell.

Something popped up this week where I saw enough value to put in a big bet also taking it on Copytip while sharing it in the SBC Discord Channel as a live bet. This bet on Antwerp -0.5 Corners after they scored the 1-2 was a no brainer and by far my biggest bet of the week which ended up winning around 1.6 units with the middle cover bet which also won included.

It was a rather slow season taking bets on Copytip since I switched more toward having multiple smaller bets instead of taking bigger stakes at once with confidence due to the special conditions with no fans and covid cases. I hope to get this back on track next season but I will see how it goes. The main goal still remains the same to be able to show a long-term profit with a sold ROI over time without ever forcing anything. I have taken 87 bets in total now there with flat stakes good for 8.44% ROI so in that regard, everything is going as planned.

The season-long chart I keep of all the bets I have taken during the season (1389 in total) pretty much exactly landed on the +3.2% ROI expected profit pink line. More than other seasons, I have been playing in a way where I reduce variance taking more cover bets which kept the variance relatively low. So +11.518 units profit on the season with an average bet size of ~0.25 units is certainly ok and nothing to complain about. Any season I would sign in advance for a +3.2% ROI result pretty much since it is hard to get in a confidence zone where you just know that you are on top of the market, crushing it especially these days when line setting has become close to an exact science.
