“Computational Creativity”: Robot Sophia creates her own NFT collection and her first art has already sold for US$700,000

NFTs have been part of the digital art world for a long time and we know that today it is an industry that moves billions of dollars in digital assets and the trend is to keep growing more and more. In addition to famous artists and even strangers, the truth is that creating your own art and transforming it into an NFT is becoming a fever all over the world for the great opportunity to earn good money.
Since NFTs are unique, this is one of the most acceptable reasons to be able to understand why we see people buying and selling their arts that are worth thousands or even millions of dollars. Now what surprised me was to know that the robot Sophia recently managed to create its own digital art and therefore, it was the first NFT produced with artificial intelligence.
It is so curious and even scary for some to know how much that through AI, society obtains several benefits. But this change in humanity comes from the end of the 18th century, as it was the period when people's quality of life began to change for the better simply because we started using steam engines, that is, it was at that time when we started to put machines to do our job.
But now we are at a time when machines, in addition to doing manual work, also do mental work. In several areas we humans have already lost badly to more advanced computers. In order for the Sophia robot to start with a series of digital arts, a project was created that also includes engineers, programmers and artists.
In its first digital art titled "Sophia Instantiation", the NFT is about a digital self-portrait and was sold at an auction today Thursday (25) for about US$700K.
The self-portrait is a 12-second MP4 file that shows the evolution of Bonaceto's portrait to Sophia's digital painting. The auction package also includes the original canvas painted by artificial intelligence.
The name given to his artistic collection is called “Computational Creativity”, it is called that by the robot because it symbolizes the proposal to mirror the human capacity to be able to reason and make decisions in a way that manages to solve his problems alone. Something very interesting coming from someone who is not a human is not it?
The interesting thing is that the auction buyer will also meet Sophia and will have his face in a work made by her, plus an NFT that will be immortalized on the blockchain. Since it is unique and immutable, art clearly obtains a more significant value.

Well, if I could of course I want to spend at least 10 minutes talking with Sophia as it would be a unique experience to be able to see her incredible reasoning ability and whoever has seen an interview with her knows what I'm saying.
The NFT as well as the DeFi are just beginning to take their first steps yet and a lot will evolve, I can't wait to see how both of them can become in 3 or 5 years. We are witnessing great things and seeing how the ability of a robot with artificial intelligence uses this technology to its advantage, shows how much fun and incredible discoveries we will have in the future.

As NFTs já fazem parte do mundo artístico digital há um bom tempo e sabemos que é hoje um setor que move bilhões de dólares em ativos digitais e a tendência é de continuar crescendo cada vez mais. Além de famosos artistas e até pessoas desconhecidas, a verdade é de que criar sua própria arte e transformá-la em um NFT está se tornando febre em todo o mundo pela grande oportunidade de ganhar uma boa grana.
Como as NFTs são algo único, esse é um dos motivos mais aceitável para poder entender o porquê que vemos pessoas comprando e vendendo suas artes que valem milhares ou até milhões de dólares. Agora o que me deixou bem surpreso foi saber que a robô Sophia recentemente conseguiu criar sua própria arte digital e sendo assim, foi o primeiro NFT produzido com inteligência artificial.
É tão curioso e ao mesmo até assustador para alguns poder saber o quanto que através da AI, a sociedade obtém diversos benefícios. Mas essa mudança na humanidade vem desde o final do século 18, pois foi o período em que a qualidade de vida das pessoas começou a mudar para melhor pelo simples fato de que começamos a utilizar motores a vapor, ou seja, foi naquele tempo em que começamos a colocar máquinas para fazer o nosso serviço.
Mas agora estamos em uma época em que as máquinas além de fazer serviços manual, também realizam trabalho mental. Em diversas áreas nós humanos já perdemos feio para computadores mais avançados. Para que a robô Sophia começasse com uma série de artes digitais foi criado um projeto que também conta com engenheiros, programadores e artistas.
Em sua primeira arte digital intitulada de "Sophia Instantiation", o NFT é sobre um autorretrato digital e foi vendido em um leilão hoje quinta-feira (25) por cerca de US$700K.
O autorretrato é um arquivo MP4 de 12 segundos, que mostra a evolução do retrato de Bonaceto para a pintura digital de Sophia. O pacote do leilão também inclui a tela original pintada pela inteligência artificial.
O nome dado para a sua coleção artística se chama “Criatividade Computacional”, é chamado assim pela robô pois simboliza a proposta de espelhar a capacidade humana de poder raciocinar e tomar decisões de forma que consiga resolver seus problemas sozinho. Algo bem interessante vindo de alguém que não é um humano não é mesmo?
O interessante é que também o comprador do leilão irá se encontrar com Sophia e terá seu rosto em uma obra feita por ela, mais um NFT que ficará eternizado na blockchain. Por se tratar único e imutável, a arte obtém é claro um valor mais significativo.
Bem, se eu pudesse é claro que eu queira ficar pelo menos uns 10 minutos conversando com Sophia pois seria uma experiência única de poder ver a incrível capacidade de raciocínio que ela possui e quem já viu alguma entrevista dela sabe do que estou dizendo.
O NFT assim como o DeFi estão apenas começando a dar seus primeiros passos ainda e muita coisa irá evoluir, mal posso esperar para ver como ambos poderão se tornar daqui a 3 ou 5 anos. Estamos presenciando grandes coisas e ver como a capacidade de um robô com inteligência artificial utiliza essa tecnologia ao seu favor, mostra o quanto que teremos divertidas e incríveis descobertas no futuro.
