Removing Dtube Delegation Makes No Sense

One thing is for sure there is never a dull moment on here as there seems to be something going on all the time. I have no idea how this is going to play out in the end and my only wish is that it is all smiles at the end of the day.

Steem is not a quick fix so it needs loads of tender loving care and time to create something special. I have been on here two years now and the place is virtually unrecognizable from those early days. The development that has taken place is way beyond anything I thought was possible on such a limited budget.

If Justin really wants to make a difference and to add value to his investment then he needs to stop fighting with everyone and work together towards an end goal. Bashing heads has never been advisable especially with a community that is going to help you get to your goals.

I noticed a few posts yesterday mentioning that Mr Delegation also known as Justin has pulled delegations from various apps. One of those apps was Dtube which makes very little sense unless he has a soft spot for Dlive and doesn't want them to survive long term. This in my mind is a negative as it is not helping Steem grow by removing this delegation.

Dtube is the one app that offers an alternative from Youtube and offers the Steem Blockchain a chance to grow attracting new users. The more support Dtube has the more support it can offer it' users through voting. Whoever is using Dtube these days is the hardcore users as the Steem price dropped and so did their vote values from where we were last year. The days of the big votes have all but gone and why powering up stake is important to help support everyone else around you.

One thing I have learnt is that users tend to abandon apps once delegation has been removed as they see no return on upvotes. I recall Musing losing it's delegation and the place became a ghost town within a month from having a vote of $50 down to a vote of around $2.

Musing were dumb though as they could have staked whatever they were earning and grown their value to the community instead of being on a continuous power down. I think that is what every one saw and I was happy they lost the delegation as we saw them as no different to Dlike and were abusing their privileges and milking the system.

I think if you use a certain app and now they have lost their delegation then it is only wise to delegate to them. Why wouldn't you as this will make the loss of rewards less painful if you receive their support in a vote on a regular basis.

Dtube definitely adds value to the community and is one app we cannot afford to lose. I have no idea how many users use this particular app, but if you do it would be wise to throw some Sp their way in the form of a delegation no matter how big or small as it all adds up.
