I was wondering what the response was going to be regarding the @blocktrades announcement yesterday with Hive and we can see the fallout already. Just looking at the witness voting a little panic has set in as instead of being a deadlock it is starting to unravel. The real witnesses are starting to take back their rightful positions.

The thing is this was not a threat and something credible as the community had been backed into the corner. This is not a scenario where there are no choices and there are solutions. The community has more power than Justin and co really think as we are a mixed bag of resources.

How were the apps created on the Steem blockchain should have answered some questions in his head. There are developers everywhere you look and these guys and girls are more than capable of putting stuff together.

I think now that we know what course to take the new chain will be something that is envied as development will now boom. Under Steemit's non leadership and no budgets for anything we had our hands tied. The ninja mine was a thing that kept everyone down trodden and was a cloud hanging over everyone's heads.

The game of cat and mouse had to end at some point as we had reached a stalemate. Justin was not smart and trying to be a dictator was the wrong approach to take with the community. His ignorance regarding decentralization came to the fore as everyone could see his conniving ways.

He knows what decentralisation is as he has mentioned it in the past for his defence in some other underhanded dealings whilst setting up Tron. I have no idea what he was thinking or how he was being advised but we are not a community of bots and can think for ourselves.

Justin had the Goose with a golden egg in Steem and he just couldn't see it. Instead of threatening everyone with his 60 Million Steem and throwing his weight around he could have done so much good. The funny thing is 10 million Steem would have been worth far more than his 60 Millon as that is what was keeping the price and growth down.

No one likes uncertainty and his actions have created this which could turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to the community. You cannot poke a bear without repercussions and Justin didn't just poke, but more like kicked. The next few days will be interesting to say the least to see what he comes up with as it is more like damage control right now.
