Grocery Haul Crypto Version ($FORTH)
I recently received the biggest airdrop in my life, courtesy of the ampleforth team, and due to the diligence of Publish0x, that integrated ampleforth as a reward token some months ago, which made me qualify for the airdrop.
So, I used part of my money to buy some groceries, with the process being somewhat like this:
- Claim Tokens (paying the gas fees on ethereum and all)
- Swap tokens on Uniswap (paying even more fees)
- Send Ethereum to my account on Bitso
- Sell the ETH for Mexican Pesos
- Withdraw to bank account.
This is what I got from Walmart, at the time of purchase the price of $FORTH was at 44 USD, which is 836 Mexican pesos per each $FORTH token.

Conclusion It is interesting to do posts like these, since it gives (to me at least) an appreciation of the huge amount of value generated by crypto, when you see the prices in $FORTH is like living in 1910 again, with ice cream at 5 cents, back when the US Dollar was worth a decent amount.
What are your thoughts on this, do you want me to do more of this posts with different cryptos? If so, which one? My only rule is that the grocery haul has to be paid by the crypto itself, even if the final payment is made on fiat, like making money on Hive via blogging, etc.
