After saw @taskmaster4450le posts related with Leo links that can be used on Leo finance posts I looked to the list that already exists on @leoglossary and decided to contribute to it.

I don't know if this is the best way to send my contribution and if exists a better approach to do it please tell me.

DEPEG

Loses a previously instituted peg on a currency. In most cases it is related with stablecoins being peg to a 1 USD at 1:1 ratio. Example: USDT, USDC and DAI shall have a peg to a 1 USD and when their value goes up or down from 1 USD the ration 1:1 it is broken.

CEFI

Centralized Finance offers yield benefits of DeFi without the user need to have knowledge to interact with decentralized finance platforms. On CeFi, the users can earn interest on saving, borrow money and earn cashback using debit card. However, the assets owner is the company and no more the user.

Yield farming

Yield farming is when the user lends or borrows crypto on a DeFi platform to earn cryptocurrencies in return.
For example: If a user lends USDC on Compound plataform he will win an interest on your assets paid on COMP (plataform token).

Passive Income

Passive income is an income acquired automatically with minimal labor to earn or maintain. Exists a lot of ways to get passive income like stocks dividends, yield farming, P2P loans, staking’s, etc

Maximalist

It is a person that believes that one cryptocurrency is the best one and the other ones are shitcoins. In crypto space, we have a lot of Bitcoin Maximalist’s.

Hashrate

Hashrate is a measure of total computational power being used in a proof-of-work blockchain to process transactions.
