Growing on Hive!
Introduction
So far I am trying to keep growing here on Hive and focus most of my time to read articles and follow awesome people. I don't want to just keep producing content that nobody read because I don't have any people who follow me.
I know is difficult when you are starting with a web 3 platform and you need to have a bit of patience. You need to dedicate countless hours to see maybe a success soon.
I am aware is part of the growing process like a plant that you put the seed on the earth.
Accumulating points with Ecency
One of the cool features I am working on is accumulating points with Ecency. It is an incentive to use and interact with the APP and in exchange, you can get nice upvotes from the Ecency APP.
You need to accept that your article must be awesome, otherwise, your points get refunded to your wallet. In my first articles, I wrote around 300 words receiving no upvotes from the curation team.
I get the deception in my face and did not understand the reason!
I put more energy and dedicate more time to writing a more valuable article of around 500 words.
You know what?
I received my first big upvote of around $2.13. This proved to me it works like a charm if you get the time to put something valuable in Hive.
The best part is I received a really cool monetary value in my crypto wallet.
It is not I can buy a home with this money, but is something cool just to take part in this awesome blockchain.
Digesting contents
One thing that I enjoy in the niche of crypto is learning something new every day or at least staying updated in this field. Something important is interacting with the contents that people work hard and share around on the Hive blockchain.
The best part is when you read cool articles and add nice comments. People will reward you with upvotes and help you grow your Hive account.
In my short time available, I cannot write a 500 words article each day because I have a lot of things to focus my energy on.
At least I can read a few articles a day and learn something cool, receive upvotes, and make progress on Hive.
Last word
My aim for the rest of September is to keep going reading articles and hopefully receiving nice upvotes. In the meantime, I hope to have the time to write at least 2 or 3 articles maximum before the end of September.
One of my priorities is to keep accumulating the precious Ecency points where I will use them to get a nice boost. Then 7 days later I will receive some nice payments in HBD and Hive to grow my account.
I see this challenge as a video game where you have a sense of progression and fun at the same time.
