My First Introduction to the Flow Blockchain!
Introduction
I listened to a great crypto show in the car that I converted into an MP3 file format. The aim was to keep me up to date instead of listening to the boring radio where you learn nothing. I don't mean all radio sucks, but when you keep listening for a while, you keep listening to the same songs and news that bring no joy into your life.
I heard about the flow blockchain that I was not aware of. It is intriguing me to make a search on my smartphone and find it almost immediately. Maybe is not the Ethereum of Bitcoin, but is good to have an open mind toward new projects. To be honest, I took a long break looking for new projects since the spring of 2022 but I feel the energy is coming back.
Investing in the crypto sphere is not always an easy venture! Like other investors, I got burned with different projects and felt less motivation researching or risk in new ventures. The market is not always rational toward you. Nevertheless, I love the crypto sphere since the day I started in this awesome space.
What is the flow blockchain?
While writing about this section, I downloaded the white paper which is only 15 pages long. Most of them are boring to read normally, I got bored easily and skip them entirely most of the time.
For this article, I learned that Flow is a fast and completely decentralized blockchain. I know they all said that as a marketing tactic because decentralization is a vital component of any public blockchain out there. I cannot verify that statement, but at least let's presume is true!
You can run smart contracts with it, and this is something that is mandatory these days. Without them, you are not dealing with a public blockchain, and you should run away if not the case. In the Flow blockchain, the blockchain is built so you can run games, DeFi, and deal with digital assets ownership.

I decided I wanted to learn about the Flow blockchain and I plan to write a few articles about it. The aim is to share what I learn at the same time. It provides a starting point to maybe find potential projects that build over it and discover awesome gems. Who knows?
Another important fact to know about the Flow blockchain is built by the same team who created the CryptoKitties game. It is a game that still has its user base and fans that deal with popular NFTs.
So much to cover with the technology built in it and with over 300 DAPPS that run over it. It will be an exciting week of discovering and sharing useful content I hope you will enjoy.
Conclusion
I am excited to immerse myself in a new project and learn something that I am enthusiastic about. This started with a recording crypto show I listened into the car.
