Introduction

When you start the day with a new thing or something that you want to immerse yourself in. You need to open your mind to learn everything about it.

It is what I am doing with the Flow blockchain with the limited time I have on my plate. If you go directly to the main page of their project, you will not know where you start your journey there. You feel overwhelmed with a lot of metrics and projects that run over it without knowing exactly what to do.

As a new user, you see these blowing metrics right in front of your nose:

  • 8000 developers
  • 14 million wallets
  • 1000+ projects
  • 400+ nodes
  • 2 million monthly transaction wallets

When you take a pause! It means a blockchain that a lot of folks are interested in.

Despite that, on the main page, you cannot even find how to take part immediately from day one. You need to scratch your head and figure it out on your own without a proper guideline. Most folks will run away without ever coming back.

You always need to bring simplicity if you want to get the mainstream to deal with your ecosystem. Something the Flow blockchain needs to address if they want to expand further and embrace more users each day.

Flowverse to the rescue

While I was around looking for more information, I discovered an extraordinary section called Flowverse. You have a cool section called Learn with a sub-section getting started on flow.

This is exactly what I needed to start my exploration further!

To access the awesome site of Flowverse, you need to go to this site below!

I read the article "Intro to NFTs on Flow blockchain" in the section of Learn section. This piece explains a small overview of what is an NFT and which wallet you need to use on the Flow blockchain to interact with them.

In the article in question, they emphasized that the most popular wallets on the ecosystem of Flow blockchain are Dapper and Blocto! It is a vital piece of information to know. Because is your key to interacting with any NFTs and decentralized applications.

I have decided I will go with the Dapper wallet and this will be introduced in my next article about the Flow Blockchain. At a certain point, you need to make a choice and stick with it.

If you cannot wait patiently, you can access the Dapper wallet website right away at this link below!

Conclusion

It is not easy to dig into something new in the crypto sphere and be willing to spend your precious time in a bear market. They have thousands of projects where you can hang out, but I have decided to learn more about the Flow blockchain.

Big brands are on this awesome blockchain and I will discover them soon, but I need to have patience and learn the basics first. At least it motivates me to write my discovery at the same time as learning.

In my next article, I will write how to configure and install Dapper!
