Introduction

Not an easy journey when you start on the Hive blockchain with tiny slow progress. One of the best things that happened in the beginning, was the delegation of 50 Hive Power. Without this precious delegation, it was almost impossible to put in a single comment. And most will have already given up and run away for something most beneficial!

Now I see some traction but I have a long way before seeing the result I want. Every article I read mentions bringing consistency to the table is a hot secret sauce. Simplistic view but a grim reality if you intend to get followers and support over the long run on this awesome blockchain.

Daily curation

I try to read at least 5 to 10 articles a day and make meaningful comments. If I have more time and energy, I can push harder to read beyond 15 articles. It is not all days I can accomplish that, but is worth it.

What is cool about receiving it is the support you get that has a monetary value. Those beautiful upvotes help you grow on the platform because you need to accumulate HBD and Hive. A point that I don't like is those who answer back with no upvote, even a tiny one, for appreciation. It is hard for small players who try to start and make a presence around here.

It is one reason you see so many articles without engagement at all. Anyway, I love doing it when I learn something useful that brings something into my daily routine.

What I like the most

The thing I have the most pleasure about is when I receive a small payout in HBD and Hive. I feel excited to see the small progress I have made so far. One of my short-term goals is to reach 50 Hive in my account before the end of the year if possible. I know is a big number but is something I want to reach without investing in this account. A challenge that provides motivation to keep going daily doing the curation and producing content when I can.

Right now I have committed myself to producing 3 articles a week. It is the only thing I can do with my short time available. With the points that I accumulate with the interface of Ecency, I receive an upvote of around $1, which helps considerably. Sometimes they don't upvote and they give back the point in my account.

The best part is the beautiful section of HBD where you can make 20% of interest in the account. Even if I have little, I still get pennies, which over time will increase in dollars. It is blowing my mind this awesome opportunity we have simply written content on the WEB3 era.

It is an awesome opportunity that you cannot do with a high-saving account. The future is great if you want to embrace it naturally.

Conclusion

Starting on Hive is not an easy route, and without effort, nothing will materialize. So you need to bring a lot of fuel to grow your account. You need to do the daily curation and take the time to produce content.

If you bypass the big expectation of making a killing when you start. You will make steady progress along the way. Now I enjoy the ride of receiving a slow daily reward that will become bigger.
