#hivesocial is not Hive web3

When I run out of inspiration, I usually go to Twitter to see what’s going on.

My account follows some Hive users, so I treat it as an extension of my hive experience.

Once in a while, it’s good to hear what people are saying on Twitter. Strange that I did not get the equivalent of this quick “dipstick” from Hive. Maybe things happen more slowly on Hive. Things get buried easily. But that is a discussion for another day.

One top discussion is about the trending of #hivesocial. Nothing to do with our web3 Hive blockchain. Hive Social is a web2 app https://www.hivesocial.app/. Seems to be getting some heavy attention due to the issues with Mastodon. Some of our Hive folks are doing their part to correct the confusion between theirs and ours.

My take is that web3 Hive beats them hand down. Hopefully people who are wiser will be able to see our proposition and join Hive. This makes me feel bullish about Hive!
