My Luna Musing: Maybe the Terra-Luna eco-system is good enough for a contrarian investment now
By now, most would know the state of things in Luna.
It has also become quite enticing for one to invest in it, seeing its price down to a few dollars from over a hundred dollars apiece ahwile ago.
Bearing in mind that it used to be among the top market cap projects in ranking, so there must be some good fundamentals already in place.
If that is so, this black swan event may well be a time to pick up cheap Luna tokens to get involve with its eco-system.
Indeed, I looked at the Terra-Luna ecosystem and found that they are quite well-supported in my opinion for a young project, with 114 apps.
With Luna at a low price of Luna now due to the crash, it seems like a steal to load up some and see if there are any dapp services that are of good personal use. That's my first thought.
After checking further, I found that they have a pretty good guide for getting developers on board. And having Python and Javascript SDK could pave the way for lots more developers to come in since there are so many of them out there! In short, the ecosystem is quite well set-up, and it's easy to see how even more innovative dapp can continue to be built there.
I am refusing to be distracted by the de-peg disaster in the UST but instead look more into the Terra-Luna as an ecosystem.
In short, it seems like Terra-Luna has suddenly become a cheap blockchain to migrate to, nice for a blockchain native wannanbe who is looking for use cases, and possible dabbling of dapp development within it myself.
Indeed, there are interesting apps within the Terra-Luna eco-system that suggest its inherent vibrancy. I shall quickly review a few below that I might use.

Granted, these dapps mean nothing if there is no adoption, and people may shun away from Terra-Luna altogether after this crash. So investing in Luna is a risky play. Always do your own due diligence before investing.
Besides, Luna has Do Kwon, while Hive has no central head figure to attack. So the decentralised Hive could well be safer in this regard.
Anyway, a contrarian move is a contrarian move, and I am betting on its eco-system at a discount.
