First CTPSB dividends were paid out today
Today I've paid the first dividends to the people who have delegated Hive Power to the @ctpsb account. It was a first and it took me quite a long time to do it :-).
In total 608 CTP tokens were sent to the delegators. For every Hive delegated, they received 0.025 CTP tokens for the past week. This represents a yearly return of about 8.85% which is not too bad if we think that this has just started.
Amazing Hive-Engine delegations
This week we have received amazing delegations to this project and we have now quite a lot of voting power in different currencies. At the moment, I'm trying to fine tune the voting of the ctpsb account to get the maximum out of these delegations which is not that easy. Within a week, we will start to see some curation rewards coming in regularly in many different tokens.
These curation rewards will be used to buy CTP tokens to pay out even more dividends to the delegators.
This week we managed to buy 38 CTP tokens on the market. Obviously this is very little but we also didn't have that much stake in the different tokens. It can only become more consequent in the future. @jongolson, one of the biggest delegators to this project told me that he would burn the dividends that he would receive from this project. This would have a very nice effect. The burnt tokens would actually decrease the offer of the CTP token. At the same time, to pay the dividends the @ctpsb account would create a demand for the token. This can only have a positive effect on the ctp price in the long term.
Increase in APR
We shouldn't forget to look at the token value which has reached 1.095 Hive. Calculated on a yearly basis since the emission of the token, this is an APR of 52%! Which is an increase of about 1 percent since last week. One week ago we were close to reach 9000 Hive Power. We are now at 9567 Hive Power on the account!
Delegate tokens that are lying around
If you have some stakeable tokens that are lying around and that you don't plan to use, feel free to delegate them to the @ctpsb account. The more stake we have, the more dividends we will be able to pay and the more ctp tokens we will be able to buy.
