Yes, I'm well aware of the SPS and SPT avenues but it was my understanding that @forexbrokr just wanted DEC covered in this article so I left it out. Maybe I'll try to link to those pieces of the guide when they're done...

Realistically, DEC is just one of many ways to earn money in Splinterlands. As you say, SPS and posting in Splintertalk can earn you tokens that, if staked, can get you more SPS. So there's posting, battling, renting/selling cards, staking, playing in events, daily quests & season rewards, and of course I'm sure developing land plots is going to allow for some pretty hefty gains as well.

I don't think six figures is out of the question by any means if someone makes the effort to participate in them all. Of course, to really start earning those large amounts, you need to build your deck. And to do that you either need money and/or luck, and time. So it will take a while to get into big dollars just playing organically. But it's there for the taking if someone wants to....

It really is a great game!
