3Speak keeps with the grind and slowly but surely is building a new infrastructure for videos. After the snapshot in January 2022 for the miner token LARINX, the token is now live and user can claim it monthly for the next 12 months. The drop is 1:1 for HIVE. Meanwhile the existing app keeps on going, people use it and post on it. Let’s take a look at the latest data.

Here we will take a look at the activity on the platform, the overall number of posts and comments, and the number of users. The top content creators for April 2022 will be presented as well.

3Speak started its journey somewhere around May 2019, since when we will look at the data.

Activity on 3Speak

First let us see the number of posts, or to be more exact videos coming from the platform.

Here is the chart.

A general uptrend here starting from 2019. There was a drop in the first half of 2021, then and uptrend towards the end of 2021 and now again a small drop in 2022.

In the last period there is on average 210 video uploads per day.

Here is the number of posts summarized by month.

Note that there was a glitch in the 3Speak and it has posted around 2k videos on January 17, 2022.

If we exclude those posts there is around 7k videos in January 2022. In the last month the number of videos uis around 6500 per month.

3Speak Authors

How is 3Speak doing with the number of authors on the platform?

Here is a chart on the number of monthly authors that posted on the 3Speak platform.

The note about the bug in January applies here as well.

The trend here is similar as for the posts. An overall uptrend with a strong growth at the end of 2021 and a small decline in 2022.

February and March 2022 have 1440 unique authors per month, while April is a bit down with 1350. Having more then 1k authors per month using the platform is a solid number for a crypto project.

Next the number of unique authors that posted on the 3Speak platform. These are authors that posted directly through 3Speak frontend.

The number of unique 3Speak authors is showing continuous growth.

Almost 9000 unique authors have used 3Speak to post, adding around 400 new unique authors in the previous months.

3Speak Votes

3Speak supports its content creators with votes from their official @threespeak account. It has around 1.5 million HP. A lot of the times @theycallmedan also joins the party and vote on 3Speak content.

Here we will be looking into the number of votes from the official @threespeak account.

Here is the chart.

There is a growth in the numbers of votes coming from 3Speak. Around 60 votes per day now from 3Speak, unlike the 20 back in April 2021.

Nice job from 3Speak supporting the content creators and distributing rewards.
