good morning and happy Sunday to all of this excellent community of @leofinance, today bringing you a coin that is not silver and that looks like gold but it is not either, but it is a coin that in good condition becomes worth a lot and little by little It is sought after more and more. It is LA LOCHA AMARILLA, a Venezuelan coin that numismatists most seek in good condition. this coin was minted in 1945 but with the year 1944 in the middle of the world war and because there was no material with which these coins were minted, it was decided to mint in a different material thus creating a unique year in which this yellow coin was born

lochas are coins that have existed since 1878 if I remember correctly and in 1944, as I mentioned, the metal in which they were always minted was not available, so copper was used for their minting, getting them in good condition is almost always difficult if they arrive let's see they are in a state of wear, in this case the one I show you is in a case like the day it was coined with some dirty parts but that make the reliefs look more

the characteristics are the following

Minted at the Denver Mint, USA. Quantity: 800,000 minted pieces Material: 70% Copper - 30% Zinc Diameter: 19 millimeters Weight: 2.5 grams

They are somewhat scarce coins even in the minting since, being their low value, they should have minted at least 2 million, so if you see one out there that you can acquire in good condition, acquire it in some years they will be worth much more

I hope you like it and this post is a little informative, therefore more from my collection
