When I first learned about the program I imagined myself participating in it. I would see these entrepreneurs and visualize myself explaining my brand Puzzlesorios; but suddenly I would imagine myself explaining HIVE.

Honestly, I find it very difficult to sell my brand to a shark, and it would not be much good for me to advertise it, when my production is semi-industrial.

With HIVE it is different for many reasons that I will mention in the post, but one of the most important is its globality. HIVE is all over the planet through the internet, which means that any viewer who sees the program can access any dapp in our blockchain at that very moment.

Imagine for a moment that a representation of our community manages to appear in one of the Shark Tank franchises. Imagine that it would be the first time that a decentralized project is presented in that program. Imagine that the owners of HIVE do not go because HIVE does not have owners, or in reality they are part of the owners because we are all owners.

I have imagined this and the first thing that comes to mind is something fundamental that is repeated in all cases. It is the application for funding where the entrepreneur says what amount of investment he is requesting and what percentage of the company is giving in return. At this point I would say: "I request $1 million for 100%"

I imagine the face of the sharks, thinking that some crazy person came to give away his company or to make fun of them. However, when you invest in HIVE, that investment remains in your possession completely. It's like buying shares in a decentralized company.

Then I thought about how I would explain all the wonders of this blockchain in such a short time. Which one would I start with, what would I emphasize most, are questions I ask myself when I dream about being in the program.

Of course I can also imagine their answers. Even the questions they would ask, which might focus on the fluctuation of the price of HIVE, user retention and recruitment, de-centralization and governance with witnesses, or classification in Alexa.

All of these could be answered whether they like it or not; however, I think the most important thing is the exposure the project would have. Millions of people knowing HIVE. People who don't have to invest a million dollars but unlike everyone who attends that program; with HIVE anyone can invest from $1.

I can imagine millions of investors wanting to put their money into supporting great content and them getting passive income. Happy because they know they are influencing the economy of many families who benefit from HIVE.

That exposure would also be incredible for a lot of content creators to come in and make the platform go viral, going up in the Alexa rankings and reaching the eyes of heavier investors.

Make it happen

Out of curiosity, I went to the [Sony Channel] website (https://la.sonychannel.com/series/shark-tank-colombia/inscripciones) and the requirements are that in order to participate in the casting you must be a Colombian company.

In Shark Tank Mexico there is no such requirement. You just fill out a form where they ask if you have Mexican partners and we have them 😛

In Shark Tank USA they have some minor requirements. The only important one is to be a legal resident in the USA. The rest is to fill out this form

What would it be like to put together a team to attend? Someone who lives in one of the countries mentioned could make it happen. A proposal could be submitted to the DAO for funding.

Some time ago @nathanmars asked if there was anyone working on relationships with exchanges and I at another post mentioned the possibility of creating a marketing and public relations team to handle this kind of thing. I would even apply to @theycallmedan accompanied by @eddiespino to go to Shark Tank Mexico 😁

I think this would be an impressive strategy for HIVE that would achieve incredible benefits. Going on TV in front of millions of people at such a low price is a great idea.

It would be great to be able to attend the program to present the HIVE blockchain. It could be a real challenge for the sharks to decide to invest for the first time in a decentralized project where they can build countless businesses. Cuando conocí el programa me imaginé participando en él. Veía a esos emprendedores y me visualizaba explicando mi marca Puzzlesorios; pero repentínamente pasaba a imaginarme explicando a HIVE.

Sinceramente veo muy complicado vender mi marca a un tiburón y poco me serviría de publicidad estar ahí, cuando mi producción es semi artesanal.

Con HIVE es diferente por muchas razones que iré mencionando en el post, pero una de las más resaltantes es su globalidad. HIVE está en todo el planeta a través de internet, lo que hace que cualquier espectador que vea el programa pueda acceder a cualquier dapp de nuestra blockchain en ese mismo instante.

Imagina por un momento que una representación de nuestra comunidad logre presentarse en alguna de las franquicias de Shark Tank. Imagina que sería la primera vez que un proyecto descentralizado se presenta en ese programa. Imagina que no van los dueños de HIVE porque HIVE no tiene dueños, o en realidad sí van parte de los dueños porque dueños somos todos.

Yo me lo he imaginado y lo primero que se me viene a la mente es algo fundamental que se repite en todos los casos. Es la solicitud de financiamiento donde el empresario dice qué monto de inversión solicita y qué porcentaje de la compañía da a cambio. En este punto diría: "Solicito 1 millón de dólares por el 100%"

Me imagino la cara de los tiburones, pensando que un loco vino a regalar su empresa o a tomarles el pelo. Sin embargo cuando inviertes en HIVE, esa inversión la mantienes en tu poder completamente. Es como si compraras acciones de una empresa descentralizada.

Después pensé en cómo les explicaría todas las maravillas de esta blockchain en tan corto tiempo. Por cuál comenzaría, a qué le daría más énfasis, son preguntas que me hago cuando me sueño estando en el programa.

Esa exposición también sería increíble para que muchos creadores de contenido vengan y que la plataforma se haga viral, subiendo en la clasificación de Alexa y llegando a las miradas de inversores más pesados.

Hacerlo Realidad

Por curiosidad entré a la web de Sony Channel y los requisitos es que para presentarse al casting debe ser una empresa colombiana.

En Shark Tank México no hay esa exigencia. Solo llenas una planilla donde te preguntan si tienes socios mexicanos y nosotros los tenemos 😛

En Shark Tank EEUU tienen algunos requisitos menores. El único importante es ser residente legal en USA. Lo demás es llenar esta planilla

¿Qué tal sería armar un equipo para asistir? Alguien que resida en algún país mencionado podría lograrlo. Se podría subir una propuesta a la DAO para financiarlo.

Hace un tiempo @nathanmars preguntaba si había alguién trabajando las relaciones con los intercambios y yo en otro post mencioné la posibilidad de crear un equipo de marketing y relaciones públicas que se encargue de este tipo de cosas. Incluso yo postularía a @theycallmedan acompañado de @eddiespino para ir a Shark Tank México 😁

Pienso que esto sería una estrategia impresionante para HIVE que conseguiría increíbles beneficios. Salir en TV ante millones de personas a tan bajo precio es una gran idea.
