Great time for freedom of expression and I would like to bring out some thoughts, which would expand on a very detailed post I made starting HIVE in an initiative by @theycallmedan. You can see it here

As you all know the debate is on the table and more alive than ever since the removal of Donald Trump's account on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Also after Apple removed Parler from its app store, as Trump's supporters were moving in.

Further actions were the removal of Parler's hosting by Amazon and Google by removing it from Google Play.

This is an unprecedented action, which I will reflect on from my anarchist perspective.

There are two main positions, although of course many nuances. These are, those who are in favor of censoring Trump (only him) and those who are not. However, the debate has focused more on whether social networks, because they are private companies, can censor or should respect free expression.

Strangely, the debate is not whether Trump incited the violence or not. For us at HIVE, though, it's more about freedom of expression.

Property vs. Freedom

As I said in the post I mentioned to you; property always comes first, because you cannot have freedom without property.

If you are in my house, you will have the freedom that I give you. I have the right to censor you on my property. I don't have the right to violate your property on my property unless it's in self-defense. For example, because you are in my house, I do not have the right to hit you. But people who believe in private property respect it, no matter who it belongs to.

In the case of social networks that are private property, they have the right to censor. We repeat this to the point of exhaustion; only on HIVE do you have the ownership of your account. In social networks 2.0 you are just passing through, nothing is yours. Knowing this, it shouldn't surprise you that one day your content will disappear.

Can you criticize the censorship of these social networks? Yes, definitely. You are a customer and you can complain to your service provider. What you shouldn't do is ask for regulation from a larger centralized entity, such as the state. This is what many Trump supporters have asked for.

In that sense I have witnessed something very funny, but that many times happens in politics and it is the double standard or double talk; inconsistencies in ideas. Seeing liberals calling for more state regulation of social networks and leftists defending big private corporations while censoring the right. It's all politics, and I'm accommodating where I can best.

There is also something curious about some anarchists who refrain from criticizing the censorship of networks because they are private companies. A kind of deification, where anyone who criticizes them is sent to the stake.

When users of social networks complain, they are spontaneously regulating the market. It's not just leaving a business where you are treated badly. You can also criticize it and thus help it change faster. Although in the case of Twitter, it seems that leaving is a faster strategy.

The market can be self-regulating, although we see that these companies are acting politically supported or perhaps even directed by the state. In this way we are witnessing the enlargement of the state, pretending to be a private company or associating with them in a clear mercantilism.

If social networks want to censor them, they have the right to do so. Let's be clear that they have never given us ownership of anything. Let's criticize them, because we are part of the market. A good strategy of the homeowner, will always be to treat your guests well and give them as much freedom as possible. Unfortunately social networks don't and won't do that. They are like the State that the bigger it gets the more it controls and subdues. Also the more politically committed they are.

HIVE is the way

It's not just a platform that lets you express yourself on any subject. HIVE gives you the OWNERSHIP of your account, including the earnings. Absolutely everyone gets their rewards after 7 days. There is no company that pays. There is no one at a desk filling out payment forms and managing funds. It's a system that never fails. With over a million accounts created and almost 5 years, it has never failed. You always have your property within 7 days. I'd have to make a digression about Justin's theft of funds, but that's another story.

In HIVE you can not only publish content as in Facebook or Twitter. Here you can create tokenized communities. WOW, that means that you can create your own economic ecosystem for your community and that it is from a specific niche, for example "Conspiracies", a quite censored topic in the networks.

In HIVE you can create your own social network easily, without having great knowledge of programming. It is open source and "templates" are available on Github.

You can do all of this for free or at a low cost depending on your needs. Having the ownership even of the business you create in HIVE. Because here we are all owners.

People are migrating to Parler and Gab. They don't know HIVE. Still, what it has to do with decentralization and blockchain is very confusing. That's why they get to the same point. Twitter when it started was very friendly to freedom of expression. As time goes by and the more it grows, it becomes more restrictive, but in a very subjective way. The small networks that now offer freedom, will soon stop doing so because they will be bought by the big ones or the State will intervene; of course in a well-disguised way so that no one doubts the private property.

To migrate to other 2.0 networks is to go around in circles. But we can't blame them; we haven't done the job. We have remained in our HIVE bubble without becoming influencers in other networks to bring our people to us. The most we do is live on Twitter and always talk about HIVE. That way we only get followers of HIVE.

We have a tremendous opportunity; but as long as they don't see us as multi-level sellers. We are going to show HIVE to the world, for us and for them, that they deserve to be free and own...

Gran momento para la libertad de expresión y me gustaría sacar a la luz algunos pensamientos, que vendrían a ampliar un post bien detallado que realicé comenzando HIVE en una iniciativa de @theycallmedan. Puedes verlo aquí

Como todos saben el debate está servido en la mesa y más vivo que nunca desde la eliminación de la cuenta de Donald Trump en Twitter, Facebook e Instagram. También después que Apple eliminara de su tienda de aplicaciones a Parler, ya que los partidarios de Trump se estaban mudando hacia allá.

Más acciones fueron la eliminación del hosting de Parler por parte de Amazon y Google sacándolo de Google Play.

Es una acción sin precedentes, que voy a reflexionar desde mi óptica anarquista.

Hay dos principales posturas, aunque por supuesto muchos matices. Éstas son, los que están a favor de que se censure a Trump (solo a él) y los que no. Sin embargo el debate se ha centrado más en si las redes sociales por ser empresas privadas, pueden censurar o deben respetar la libre expresión.

Es extraño que el debate no sea si Trump incitó la violencia o no. Aunque para nosotros en HIVE nos beneficia más el de la libertad de expresión.

Propiedad vs Libertad

Como lo dije en el post que les mencioné; la propiedad siempre va primero, porque no puedes tener libertad sin propiedad.

Si estás en mi casa, tendrás la libertad que te dé yo. Tengo derecho a censurarte en mi propiedad. No tengo derecho a violar tu propiedad dentro de mi propiedad a no ser que sea en defensa propia. Por ejemplo que por estar en mi casa no tengo derecho a golpearte. Pero las personas que creen en la propiedad privada la respetan, sea de quien sea.

En el caso de las redes sociales que son propiedad privada, tienen el derecho de censurar. Lo repetimos hasta el cansancio; solo en HIVE tienes la propiedad de tu cuenta. En las redes sociales 2.0 solo estás de paso, nada es tuyo. Sabiendo esto no debería asombrarte que un día desaparezcan tu contenido.

¿Puedes criticar la censura de estas redes sociales? Sí, definitivamente. Eres un cliente y puedes quejarte, ante tu proveedor de servicio. Lo que no deberías hacer es solicitar una regulación a un ente centralizada mayor, como lo es el Estado. Es lo que muchos partidarios de Trump han pedido.

En ese sentido he presenciado algo bien divertido, pero que muchas veces ocurre en política y es el doble estándar o doble discurso; incoherencias en las ideas. Viendo a liberales pidiendo más Estado para que regule a las redes sociales y a izquierdistas defender las grandes corporaciones privadas mientras censure a la derecha. Todo es política y me acomodo donde mejor pueda.

Hay también algo curioso en algunos anarquistas que se abstienen de criticar la censura de las redes por ser empresas privadas. Una especie de endiosamiento, donde cualquiera que las critique es mandado a la hoguera.

Cuando los usuarios de redes sociales se quejan, están regulando el mercado de forma espontánea. No solo es irse de un negocio donde te tratan mal. También puedes criticarlo y de esa forma ayudas más rápido a que cambie. Aunque en el caso de Twitter, parece que el irse está siendo una estrategia más rápida.

El mercado se puede autorregular, aunque vemos que esas empresas están actuando de forma política apoyadas o quizás hasta dirigidas por el Estado. De ese modo presenciamos el agrandamiento del Estado, simulando ser empresa privada o asociándose con ellas en un claro mercantilismo.

Si las redes sociales quieren censurar que lo hagan, están en su derecho. Tengamos claro que nunca nos han dado la propiedad de nada. Critiquemos sí, porque somos parte del mercado. Una buena estrategia del dueño de casa, siempre será tratar bien a sus invitados y darles toda la libertad posible. Lamentablemente las redes sociales no lo hacen y no lo harán. Son como el Estado que mientras más grande se hace más controla y somete. También más comprometidos políticamente están.

HIVE es el camino

No es una simple plataforma que te deja expresarte en cualquier tema. HIVE te da la PROPIEDAD de tu cuenta, incluyendo las ganancias. A absolutamente todos les llega por sistema, sus recompensas a los 7 días. No hay una empresa que paga. No hay alguien en un escritorio llenando planillas de pago y administrando fondos. Es un sistema que jamás falla. Con más de un millón de cuentas creadas y casi 5 años, nunca ha fallado. Siempre tienes tu propiedad a los 7 días. Tendría que hacer un paréntesis sobre el robo de fondos que realizó Justin, pero eso es otra historia.

WOW, eso quiere decir que puedes crear tu propio ecosistema económico para tu comunidad y que sea de un nicho específico, por ejemplo "Conspiraciones", un tema bastante censurado en las redes.

En HIVE puedes crear tu propia red social y de forma fácil, sin tener grandes conocimientos de programación. Es de código abierto y las "plantillas" están disponibles en Github.

Todo esto lo puedes hacer gratis o a bajo costo dependiendo. Teniendo la propiedad incluso del negocio que crees en HIVE. Porque aquí todos somos dueños.

Las personas están migrando a Parler y Gab. No conocen HIVE. Todavía lo que tiene que ver con descentralización y blockchain es muy confuso. Por eso llegan al mismo punto. Twitter cuando comenzó era muy amigable con la libertad de expresión. A medida del tiempo y mientras más crece, se vuelve más restrictivo, pero de forma bastante subjetiva. Las redes pequeñas que ahora ofrecen libertad, pronto dejarán de hacerlo porque serán compradas por grandes o el Estado intervendrá; por supuesto de forma bien disimulada para que nadie dude de la propiedad privada.

Migrar a otras redes 2.0 es dar vueltas en círculos. Pero no podemos culparlos; no hemos hecho el trabajo. Nos hemos quedado en nuestra burbuja de HIVE sin convertirnos en influencers en otras redes para traernos a nuestra gente. Lo máximo que hacemos es vida en Twitter y siempre hablando de HIVE. De esa forma solo obtenemos seguidores de HIVE.

Tenemos una oportunidad tremenda; pero siempre que no nos vean como vendedores de multinivel. Vamos a mostrar a HIVE al mundo, por nosotros y por ellos que se merecen ser propietarios y libres...
