I wrote some short messages explaining the function of the tokens. They are part of the ecosystem of communities in HIVE (some of them) that use this incentive to motivate the participation of their members.
There are many tokens in HIVE that you can see on Hive-engine.com. Most of them have little or no utility and this is where I was emphatic, because the expectation began to be generated, that if you waited a long time, they would be worth good money. However it should always be made clear that most crypto projects do not prosper and that those HODL stories where you become a millionaire, only happen in a few blockchains.
Most of the tokens in HIVE have no value; they have not provided anything different from what HIVE provides, earning money for published content. These are launched very quickly in communities that are not yet solid. But the biggest key in the failure of most projects, is not creating an incentive to buy the token. I always see that the only incentive is that it will be worth more because the community will grow more and it is bought to earn it in curation. This works similar to a ponzi scheme, where those who buy do so with the illusion that others will later buy as well.
The best example of this that I mentioned in the chat was SPACO. This was a token created for the Hispanic community, which you earned just by using the hashtag #spanish. This token had no incentive to purchase, plus the project was centralized from the beginning.
Their main page stopped working https://www.spanish-tribe.com/ and the token value went to zero as expected. The @spaco account is still on Steem posting only curation reports with no value.
LEO is the difference
In the chat, after telling that, I mentioned that Leofinance has a solid project and their LEO token keeps increasing in price. Its success, or the main reason for that, is its committed community that not only supports the project, but defends it tooth and nail.
Do I invest in LEO?
I received that question after mentioning the goodness of Leofinance and its LEO token. My answer was the same as always: I do not give investment advice and I only tell you to study well the project where you are going to invest.
For this we can easily see the statistics of Leofiance in the account @leo.stats where a weekly report is published to know how the token and the platform are doing. Also important are the updates that are published from @leo.stats.
The latest post from @leo.stats includes LEO when it goes above $0.50 USD, however at the time of this post we could see LEO at $0.68. This gives us an excellent sign of growth, but especially if we see its historical as in the following image....
It is incredible the increase in the price of the token. I have rarely seen anything like this in such a short time.
Also impressive is the growth in posting activity. This shows how active the community is.
Such a large activity of the Leofinance community brings its rewards. This is why authors who publish on Leofinance, are the ones who receive the biggest rewards in the whole HIVE blockchain. You can see it in this post
By this time, LEO's price is four times more than HIVE. It is a project that is showing us a path to success. Here we can copy many things for HIVE, such as its flat curation curve that is giving so many gains without harming manual curation.
It is also worth mentioning that the Leofinance project is constantly developing. They are innovating all the time. They have made great changes and developments such as Leoinfra or Leo Lightning DB. Also the long awaited and close to launch: #projetcblank a platform similar to Twitter that will change the rules of the game.
This is a little bit what I can tell you about Leofinance and something where we could start to investigate more about the project. Their community has full confidence.
I can only add, that I would invest in LEO. In fact I just did. While writing this post I looked at all the tokens I had and sold them. With that I bought LEO and made a power up. I know it's little and maybe I'm going slow, but my first goal is to be a dolphin in HIVE. After that I will focus more on LEO.
As of today my Leofinance account is worth $180 USD and growing...

El mejor ejemplo de esto y que lo mencioné en el chat fue: SPACO. Este fue un token creado para la comunidad hispana, que ganabas solo usando la etiqueta #spanish. Este token no tenía ningún incentivo para la compra, además el proyecto estuvo centralizado desde el principio.
Su página principal dejó de funcionar https://www.spanish-tribe.com/ y el valor del token se fue a cero como se esperaba. La cuenta de @spaco sigue en Steem publicando solo reportes de curación sin ningún valor.
LEO es la diferencia
En el chat, después de contar eso, mencioné que Leofinance tiene un proyecto sólido y su token LEO no para de aumentar el precio. Su éxito o la principal razón de ello, es su comprometida comunidad que no solo apoya el proyecto, sino que lo defiende a capa y espada.

Para esto podemos ver fácilmente el las estadísticas de Leofiance en la cuenta @leo.stats donde se publica un reporte semanal para saber cómo va el token y la plataforma. También son importantes las actualizaciones que se publican desde @leo.stats
La última publicación de @leo.stats incluye a LEO cuando supera los 0,50 USD, sin embargo almomento de este post pudimos ver un LEO en $0,68. Esto nos da una excelente señal del crecimiento, pero sobre todo si vemos su histórico como en la siguiente imagen...
Es increíble el aumento del precio del token. Pocas veces he visto algo así en tan poco tiempo.
También impresiona el crecimiento en la actividad de las publicaciones. Esto demuestra lo activa que es la comunidad.

Para este momento, el precio de LEO es de cuatro veces más que el HIVE. Es un proyecto que nos está mostrando un camino de éxito. Aquí podemos copiar muchas cosas para HIVE, como por ejemplo su curva plana de curación que tantas ganancias están dando sin perjudicar a la curación manual.

Solo puedo agregar, que yo sí invertiría en LEO. De hecho acabo de hacerlo. Mientras redactaba este post me fijé en todos los tokens que tenía y los vendí. Con eso compré LEO y realicé un power up. Sé que es poco y quizás voy lento, pero mi primera meta es ser delfín en HIVE. Después me enfocará más en LEO.
