Since I quit Drinking in Feb 2019, I have been taking several steps to gradually move towards a happier and ultimately more fulfilling life. It’s a slow process, but I have learned that having accountability is important for me to change. It is in that spirit of accountability that I am writing this review. It forces me to analyse what has actually happened in the past week, what the results were, and then I can decided the next step to take.

This post is probably more for my benefit than it is yours, but who knows, you might find it interesting

Health

After my last Weekly Review I haven't really progressed much further. You can see I've been slack with my diet of late, and my running as been sporadic at best. The graph shows just how quickly circumstances can change, 8 weeks of beeing focused and the weight fell of, and 5 weeks of laziness and it piles on again.

Once again I plan to dig out the Food Diary to track what I am eating, although it is easy to say that while writing this before I go to bed, and much harder to do in the cold light of day.

One success from the last week referrers to my post about Cutting down Social Media. In it I deleted my insta account completely, and disabled the facebook app on my phone. I haven't missed it all, and I have halved the time I spend looking at the phone. Instead of mindlessly scrolling through my facebook feed, I pick up the phone, check the weather, check the Blockfolio app to see the latest price drop from Hive (cry a little inside), and put the phone down again. Quite frankly its a revelation!

Work I have picked up more overtime from work recently which is a plus (I have earned an extra £120 this week). I also have 10 days holiday coming up shortly which will give me a much needed break before the xmas season kicks in.

Quite what Christmas will look like this year is uncertain considering the UK is about go into a 2nd National Lockdown. Sadly I predict that lockdown will stay in effect in some shape or form over the Christmas period

Interesting times ahead... and once again I am reminded how lucky I am to have a crappy little retail job, its one of the few roles about now with guaranteed Job Security.

In other income news, my Redbubble Store is still plodding away in the background. This month I am due to be paid £33 in earnings for the products I have sold. I know its not much but once again, i did all the work back in April 2020 setting it up, and haven't touched it since. So this income is a s passive as it gets... now, I wonder what I could spend it on?

Hive Oh! Maybe I can treat myself to some more Hive... the price is still down in the dumps and I could get a significant amount of Hive for 30 quid. Or perhaps I'll add it to bitcoin. Or maybe buy a bigger stake in Leo?

Now theres an idea... decisions, decisions.

And the extra wage this month will help go towards some more crypto (no point in putting it in my Banks Saving Account, the 0.1% interest is an insult).

Other than the price being in the gutter, I'm still enjoying the process here, and there is value here in this blockchain community thing that is more than just the price of the token (although I do accept that if the token was worth $1 then we'd all be happier!)

Targets for the coming week: Health: Stop eating all the Pies dammit! Work: Just maintain I guess, who knows what covid will throw up next? Hive: Keep posting regularly. Its about time I did a couple of #music posts on my alt. account, more for a change of pace really.
