Metamask corrupted

And people actually trust this thing? Seems like a real point of weakness to me.

This is the third time this has happened and I have to repair the extension.

So now I have to reload the wallet, and add coins all over again.

I will do it, but it is a major inconvenience. Have any of you had this experience?
