Progress Update - My Journey to Dolphin Starts Here
When I created my 2023 goal, I picked the number of 5,000 Hive Power. It seems to be a very round number and would be easy to track toward. However I will be changing that to a Longer Range Goal of achieving Dolphin Stats on the Hive Platform.
As you can see in the screen shot below, Dolphin status starts around 5596 as that is the lowest Hive Platform user that has the Dolphin status.
So basically, I need to be in the top 2000 before I will even be close enough to get into the Dolphin group.
Moving on up in the overall Hive Power ranking from last week's ranking of 3706. I was able to move up 31 places to 3675. I participated in the Monthly Hive Power Up Day and this helped push me up several places in addition to my weekly Hive Power earnings.
Hive Power is critical to have so that you are able to participate in curation and governance of the Hive Platform.
Hive Target
I currently have 2431 Hive Power. This is an increase of 26 Hive Power for the week. I would like to continue adding a little more each week and also continue to participate in the monthly Hive Power Up Days. It will be a slow journey but if I am consistent with my activity, I will be able to get closer to my goal each and every day.
Weekly Earnings
My Author rewards increased again this week to 19.94 HP ($7.69) from 17.39 ($7.93) last week. With the decrease in value of Hive, the USD value of HP earned decreased. This will fluctuate with the market so I am not to concerned about that aspect. My focus is adding to my Hive Power.
My curation rewards fluctuated again this week dropping to 3.27 HP ($1.26) from 3.56 HP ($1.62). It is good to see it staying above 3 Hive per week. I hope to maintain this but hope to get closer to 4 Hive per week as the year progresses.
I have been receiving 0.15 HBD Interest per week which is an increase from prior weeks amount of 0.14 HBD. HBD provides a 20% APR. I am adding a little to my HBD holdings each month in addition to the earned interest.
30 Day Earnings
During the last 30 days, I received a total of 83.13 HP ($32.07) compared to 80.52 HP ($36.71) of Author Rewards. This is an increase in my 30 day earnings of 3 Hive getting me closer to the 100 HP per month that I hope to achieve by mid year.
My curation rewards slightly increased to 14.29 ($5.51) from 13.54 HP ($6.17). This is the first time that my curation rewards have exceeded 14 in a 30 day period. If this continues, I should be able to exceed reaching 15 HP per 30 days by mid-year. My interest earnings increased to 0.63 HBD compared to the 30 days from a week ago of 0.61 HBD
Curation APR
My curation APR fell to just below the bottom of my targeted range of 8 to 10% this week. My curation APR is 7.98% from 8.78% last week.
This week, I did not have a single day of curation rewards over 0.5 HP. Yesterday was the best day at 0.7 HP but all the rest of in the upper 0.3's or lower 0.4's. I need to work on getting each day in the 0.4 rewards range or higher.
Hive Engine Tokens
There are four community tokens that I have chosen to increase in 2023. The below numbers only reflect 6 days of increases since I am posting one day early.
Alive - Increased staked Alive tokens by 108 to 17864 from 17756. The other 1,000 is a delegation for a month.
CTP - Increased staked CTP tokens by 342 to 22705 from 22363. The other 2,000 is related to a delegation I have received.
LEO - Increased staked LEO tokens by 2 to 432 from 430.
POB - Increase staked POB tokens by 22 to 2160 from 2138.
The picture of my Hive earnings would not be complete without including the received rewards from Hive Engine tokens. This week I received 6.83 ($2.63) as compared to 7.45 ($3.40) of Hive Engine tokens for Author and Curation rewards last week. Over the last 30 days, I have received 28.51 ($11.00) compared to 37.25 Hive equivalent ($16.99) of Hive Engine tokens last week. This is decline that I was not expecting. I hope to reverse this so that it does not become a trend.
