Staking and delegating your LEO tokens sitting in your wallet is one of the best ways to earn passively. If you don't have time to curate content to earn curation rewards, the information below will help you out.

I wrote about delegating LEO to @leo.voter a while back. By delegating to @leo.voter you get roughly a 16% APR on Hive Power (HP). They currently manage 2M HP ๐Ÿคฏ

Although the @leo.voter team is a fantastic choice, and gives great returns, it's not the only one. In this guide, I am going to show you 3 other accounts (plus an extra way) to use to delegate your LEO.

Why more? Because diversification should be your absolute mantra when it comes to money management.

The Role of Delegation in the Hive Ecosystem

By staking and delegating your tokens, Hive Power or LEO Power to curators, you will receive curation rewards automatically.

Many people don't have time to find and upvote good content, and that is a lot of rewards left on the table for many people.

Curators like the ones mentioned here will receive your delegated power (LP or HP) and send you back curation rewards based on the amount you delegate.

If you delegate 1000 you'll get a certain amount of rewards, but if you delegate 10,000 you get more. The heavy-lifting is done by them, and you only need to cash in your rewards when they're sent.

That's a fantastic way to earn passively.

And to be clear, anyone can delegate on the Hive blockchain. You only need an asset like HP (or token) to delegate to the receiver.

Remember that when you delegate, you're not losing any portion of the delegated stake but only its benefits until you decide to undelegate and put everything back in your wallet.

4 Accounts to Delegate LEO Power an/or Hive Power

@leo.voter

Like I wrote in my previous guide on delegation, you can delegate your Hive Power to @leo.voter very easily (article includes all steps). The @leo.voter team is very well known and gives very good returns.

@hodlcommunity

An interesting service I discovered recently is @hodlcommunity to get get weekly curation rewards:

  • They pay weekly liquid LEO if you delegate your LEO Power
  • They pay daily liquid Hive if you delegate Hive Power

@meowcurator and @amr008.leo

If you only have LEO Power to delegate you can take a look at services like @meowcurator or @amr008.leo.

In particular, fellow hiver @katerinaramm performed an experiment a while ago, which you can read about here.

She compared returns of a 1-week delegation of 100 LEO to @meowcurator versus ~100 LEO delegated through LeoFi.io (see more about this below).

The experiment clearly showed that @meowcurator won the "battle" (next image).

+1 Extra Way to Delegate Your LEO Power

LeoFi.io is another way for you to delegate your LEO Power. The system is a little different though.

This project by @leofinance is quite new, introduced a couple of months ago, and it's very, very promising.

This is LeoFi.io ๐Ÿ‘‡

If you click on Lease (red arrow above), you get access to a tool where you can lease your LEO Power to anyone listed.

As you can see from the stats in the image above, you get all the information to help you make an informed decision.

For example, take @hykss, the first account listed (highest APR):

  • Amount that will be delegated: 250 LEO Power out of your LEO Power (top-right corner in image above)
  • Duration of the delegation: 26 weeks
  • Daily payout: You'll get 0.087 LEO Daily Payout (26 weeks total: 16.011 LEO)
  • APR: You'll get a nice 12.50%

If you like what you see, all you need to do is press the blue button Lease (see image).

And that's it! Those โ˜ are the 4 accounts and 1 extra way you can use to put your unused LEO Power to work through delegation.
