Interesting talks on community governance @vempromundo with reference to @trostparadox post and all the comments on the post.

I also dropped my honest observations and how governance can be encouraged in #hive communities like #proofofbrain. Which I want to share at large for corrections and contributions.

It was said that some people don't care about Governance or the future of their communities, that we just want to produce, get our rewards and cash out. Yes we are mostly victims of this at one point or the other. However! It's not that many don't care we just don't have enough to run our personal needs and internet data due to insufficient income stream which will surely improve with time. There's no problem with moderation involved.

Obviously I agree we must focus on investing in the community future and governance rather than just getting and using rewards alone. That's our vision no matter what the case may be right now.

But talking about Governance and Equality in the community!

I observed that there's a circle of users in #pob community that acquire the whole lots of the visibility and rewards alone. Whilst those trying hard to publish quality contents and comments are not visible and rewarded accordingly.

So! how then do we aqcuire enough influence to govern, obtain enough #pob to stake as power and run our Internet data at the same time?

Just that many of us already know that it takes time to build influence and power in the community of existing great minds and we keep trying our best , trying to keep doing what is expected gradually atleast to keep moving forward no matter the pace and we won't give up.

A Democratic governance approach should be government of the users by the users and for the users.

A publisher should be a commentator and also be a stakeholder with time.

A commentator is also a publisher at thesame time can be a stakeholder of any worth as time goes on.

My point now is that the community should set targets that will encourage everyone which will build up the community governance inevitably.

For instance!

Give visibility and attention to we upcoming users who are trying and taking our time to create, share quality contents and comments atleast at individual capacity. Not just attending and highly rewarding already known and established users alone. With this everyone will feel important and effortlessly contribute to the community governance, development and expansion.

Targeted amount of pob acquired and staked per week, Numbers of quality comments per week, Quality and Volume of Writeup per week.. Should be specially rewarded with more visibility, pob power per week.

Doing this will relate and encourage everyone (established, intermediate, upcoming, newbies) in the community to keep aiming high, inevitably engaging more values to acquire more influence, readers, comments, votes and power.

Making visibility and high rewards centered around few already known stakeholders/authors in the community will not enhance effective governance.
