About dCity

dCity is a mathematical and trading game based on non-fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build their own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in the form of HIVE (based on ranking) and SIM token (based on city income). There are also cards that players can get only from playing the game like technologies, backgrounds and prevention cards.

Datacenters

We are introducing Bag of SIM to minting - a limited item that will be needed to combine new Buildings. Later it will be possible to combine the upcoming Building - Datacenters. To combine it, players will need:

1x Warehouse 1x Office 1x Public Restroom 1x Research Center 5x Basic Accounting 1x Open Source 1x Advanced Management 1x Construction Site 1x one of Mining Operation (HIVE/ETH/BTC) 1x Bag of SIM

Depending on the Mining Operation technology used (HIVE/ETH/BTC), the player will receive a given Datacenter. The Datacenters scheme has been described in the intro post.

There will be 3 networks in the game - HIVE, ETH and BTC. Each network will earn network points through quests and jobs. Limit of points for the network is 1000 - for each point gained network will receive +1 Income and +1 Popularity. Properties gained for a given network are for all Datacenters buildings from that network. Also, each day the networks will receive points depending on the technology used:

  • HIVE +1 point
  • ETH +2 points
  • BTC +3 points

Every two weeks, with the change of president, each network will lose 10% of its network points.

Quests

Every 24 hours a random Datacenter holder from each network will be selected to delivery a quest for their network. The player will have to deliver Technologies or Prevention Cards to gain +1 point for the network. In order to delivery the quest, a player must supply a given amount of the listed technology (e.g. 2x Open Source is 1 quest = +1 point).

Jobs

Every 24 hours game will choose random Job for Hackers. Players will be able to add their Hackers to that Job - cost is 20 SIM per Hacker. The result of the Job will depend on the Hackers education (sum of levels). For completing Jobs, the network that wins will receive the given amount of points, while networks that lose will be penalized with negative points.

List of Jobs:

Hackaton - Winning network +5 points, others -2 points Hackaton (2) - Winning network +6 points, others -4 points Bug bounty - Winning network +2 points Bug bounty (2) - Winning network +3 points Bug bounty (3) - 100k ENTRY tokens for random participating Hacker Prison break - Release criminals from random prison, all networks +1 point Hack education system - Students (debt) cards don't get tax refund, all networks +2 points Hack war industry - War profits decreased by half, all networks +2 points Hack war industry (2) - War profits decreased by half, only Soldiers get war shares, all networks +3 points
