About dCity

dCity is a mathematical and trading game based on non-fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build their own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in the form of HIVE (based on ranking) and SIM token (based on city income). There are also cards that players can get only from playing the game like technologies, backgrounds and prevention cards.

Social support change

Social support is a mechanic that charges cities an additional cost. It is taken from the city Income (before taxes). Currently, there are 5 types of citizens affected by Social support:

  • Unemployed citizens: 0.2 SIM
  • Sick citizens: 0.4 SIM (Pandemy crisis only)
  • Student: 0.2 SIM
  • Student (debt): 0.3 SIM
  • Young Citizen: 0.4 SIM

To reduce the cost of Social support you can use 2 cards:

  • Social Aid Office: -100 SIM per card
  • Hospital: -40 SIM per card (Pandemy crisis only). Requires Healthcare AI technology

New Combined Building - Nature Zone

Nature Zone is the next Combined Building we are introducing. To combine it you will need:

  • 25x Park
  • 15x Forest
  • 1x Construction Site

Nature Zone gives 25 tax refund.

New Citizen - Trader

We want to make the dCity Market more attractive to users. In an earlier post, we introduced two systems to the Market - SIM counting towards SIM Power and test rewards of ENTRY tokens for users' random bids. Now we have prepared something new for active Market users. Trader is a new citizen card that will be sent to random users for the highest bids on the Market. The statistics of the card look as follows:

  • Population 1
  • Popularity -1
  • Income 2

Trader gives 2 tax refund.
