Good Evening, today I got inspired to write a few things about a certain topic that I was thinking about for a long time

Modern Day society has advanced in psychology research, that being said the science is still a bit in its baby phase and I think many would agree this to be the case. However, we know a lot about how human cognition and behavior works, we have a rough idea of the patterns and even have techniques developed for achieving certain goals.

That being said, with great power comes great consequences if the responsibility falls short. In this case, human Greed and the desire to control left some humans to use the knowledge gained for their own benefit and in expense of others. Look no further than social media, games and of course how certain systems are designed.

Sadly, I have noticed it a lot and the last drop on the glass was one of such things, a certain popular game franchise which recently came to the mobile space. I would be no surprised if companies hire professional influence and behavior experts to tip the scales to their favor and away from the customer's best interests. This has been the case for a significantly long time and is nothing new, humans used their knowledge to influence others into buying products for decades, for instance, having the smell of freshly made popcorn in cinemas escaping and reaching the soon-to-be customers, subminimal messages and other practices.

Those things need no introduction and my concern is... when enough is enough?

Apparently the only time anyone does anything is when children are involved, notably related to gambling in video games for example or related topics. However, influence is happening far and wide and in my opinion organizations should be formed for a "Defense against the Dark Arts" type of program,
a place where professionals are able to get funded to aid in the protection against influences or "junk" or "noise" as such.

Apparently there is too much ethically concerning material on the internet already, things that should otherwise be rejected and moderated are actually fully allowed to be used for taking advantage of people who are otherwise unaware.

Psychological tricks and so on can be additive and dangerous to many,
one thing about Web3 that I respect is to take power away from advertisements, which by the way can be a mind-pollution,

Surely people make their money off of those and some creators even live from that, however it does not stop being mind-pollution in most cases, of course that is not a cause to be alerted as the mind does a good job of filtering things out but sometimes things slip-in, something to be aware about. Just intending to provide some clarity and help spread awareness, and lastly, I would like to challenge the people into finding new ways of helping cash-flow happen without things that would otherwise pollute the mind of many,
"there is always a way... question is... how?"

Thanks for reading so far, it has been a pleasant journey and I wish you a wonderful rest of the day! 🙏✨
