Hey there! Lately I have been thinking of a topic that has been apparent to me for a long time now, its about trying too hard and slowly slowing down passion,

You see... it is often the case that when people do anything while having negative feedback they start to get disappointed and decline wanting to do the process involved anymore, that's the result of a burnout, something that happens when people receive either no feedback or negative feedback in relation to what they are attempting, of course disappointment can derive from being anchored to expectations of certain results (which may ultimately not be met) rather than the enjoyment of the activity involved.

Understandably so I had my own burnouts, namely in school when I was simply trying too hard for a goal that in the end was not met and disappointment followed as well as a huge demotivation to continue. The secret to retaining attention and motivation is to have a virtually unattainable or grand goal, while also part of the joy being the experience of getting there. The bigger the goal the more progress will be seen in your life, that's I think because our mind will do its very best to close the gap and the "in-between" is exactly that "progress" and results we see as fruits of labor.

I wont tire you much more for today as you probably are a busy reader so I would like to share an experience with you,

When I joined the university there was a very inspiring teacher who introduced me to the school, he promised many things and was into certain video games, naturally because I played the same game I returned to the game and grinded a lot to get my ranks up and everything because I wanted to appeal as someone experienced to the teacher, unfortunately a month later after I had achieved that the teacher completely left the school without much notice,

needless to say, everyone was very frustrated and extremely disappointed, that left a void of "now what?...", the issue here is that I didn't do it as much for myself and for the activity itself but mostly to show to them that I am a dedicated person, something that backfired sadly, that was a few years ago and ever since I know better of course.

This also happens in relationships too, friendships and such.

Thanks for reading so far, it has been a pleasant journey an I wish you a wonderful rest of the day! 🙏✨
