Hello Buddies!

I just finished watching it, I actually watched every episode when it aired a few years ago, then for some reason I can't remember, I stopped watching it and I got lost from season four on.

After 5 years from the final I updated myself watching it from the first to the last episode, now in the fateful fourth season I remembered why I had abandoned it, in my opinion it had suffered a decline going to parry on taboo topics in a very superficial and stupid way.

For those who had never seen it, tells the story of some friends who play Fantasy Football, they are so obsessed with this game that even though they are in a league of eight, of which a couple of participants hardly ever appear, they create a real cult around their competition, as well as making it the center of their lives, everything revolves around that and they go to great lengths to win.

The winner receives the cup dedicated to an unlikely former schoolmate of Indian descent named "Shiva" (does it remind you of something?), the loser will be mocked and will also receive a cup as well as having to suffer senseless punishment.

Dirty Randy & Rafi

The main characters are often hilarious:

  • Ruxin: Cynical, unscrupulous lawyer.
  • André: Rich plastic surgeon, snobbish and hated by everyone.
  • Pete: Cunning latin lover who works in an office.
  • Kevin and Jenny: fanatical married couple who will be able to put their "fantasy problems" besides and make their children go to the background.
  • Taco: brother of Kevin, who represents the emblem of stupidity.

Another character who is not constant but to be reckoned with is the legendary Rafi, also known as "El Cunado," if Taco's an idiot, he beats him hands down.

Symbol of it all, I think, is the invention of the term "Eskimo Brothers," invented by Taco's genius, which finds its explanation in whether someone has sex with the same partner that another had sex with they becomes a brother. Our hero, Canadase, will succeed in creating a BNB with orgies and 5-star service.

High and low for these 7 seasons of 13 episodes each, minus the first one which is much shorter, sometimes I really had a lot of fun because dementia is the master, others much less, because as I said before, you have the pretension to treat some very delicate topics in a stupid and childish way.

And yet all he had to do was watch a few episodes of There's always sunshine in Philadelphia, of the same FX, to take some interesting cues and be a little more cynical and critical on some topics that when taken with too much simplicity turn out to be trivial and sometimes irritating.

After all it's enjoyable, beautiful characters and guest stars are certainly not lacking, both sports and movie stars.
