Its one thing to go to school, spend some years, stress yourself to get a good degree, graduate with a good degree. Then something else to get a job.
Getting a good paying job in a country like Nigeria is close to impossible, unless you have a lot of connections or a rich sponsor out there. Especially when you don't live in top states like Lagos or Abuja.
In order to solve the problem of unemployment, i have decided to write this post. Don't wait to be employed, Employ yourself
Self emoloyment has taken a huge turn in Nigeria as everyone is fighting to get a small business.
One thing about University graduates is that they put all there hope on getting a dream job after school, when they finish and didn't get the job because of the high level of unemployment in Nigeria, they blame the government, and they become confused and depressed. This will definitely lead him to a bad end if not taken care of.
There are lots of things you can do to make money. If you walk round the streets from company to company with your files in search of a job, also take some time to ask yourself, "What can i do on my own to make money" there are lots of small business out there you can engage in. If they didn't employ you, employ yourself.
For those who are going into business, here is a little business tip to help you grow.
1. Customer relationship: you may not be too social to make your customers laugh or like you but a little phone call to that your customer after a while won't cost your life. Call your customers, complement them when they come to buy from you. Trust me, that customer will become a permanent customer.
Now, emagine doing that to 100 customers, you will have 100 permanent customers.
2. Sincerity: be sincere to your customer, you don't have to lie to sell. Tell the truth. If a customer learns you are sincere, he/she will never depart from your business place
3. Make that shop beautiful: if you have a shop or business place, make it look good, people are attracted to good looking things, you won't like to buy from a dirty shop, would you?
