Annual inflation in the United States has recently hit a 40 year high and families from all different walks of life are struggling to keep up with affording what they need.

Some 64% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck

When Millions of Americans are living this way it means that they are not ready to handle any emergency. If someone were to lose their job, or car break down, if a child needed new glasses or dental work etc, there are a myriad of emergencies that might come up and require some financial attention. But most Americans wouldn't be able to deal with it and they would have to reach out for help.

It does not seem to signal a strong economy underfoot when around 7 in 10 Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.

Already there are many who have turned to find side hustle opportunities that might help them to make payments on rent, their phone, buy food, and afford other necessities.

Some individuals are even being forced out of retirement and back into the work force because they didn't anticipate what inflation might to do their cost of living and money they had available. Seeing seniors out doing food deliveries isn't something that many people want to see, when they know that is happening we see a great response and outpouring from those who want to help. Some have had quick crowdfunding campaigns set up for them to help them quit the job and retire in comfort and peace.

It has been suggested frequently that inflation could cause tremendous suffering for the poor and middle class populations around the world as it worsens, inflation is expected to impact poor and middle income households more than wealthy households.

With the deteriorating environment as far as the standard of living goes for millions, it can become difficult to try and enjoy your life when you are so focused on simply trying to survive and not end up on the streets. For more seniors, veterans, even full-time working professionals too, this is a growing risk in a number of areas as rent rates and housing costs climb along with the growing cost in standard of living.
