Tens of millions of chickens have been killed after the outbreak of bird flu at poultry farms and now some say that they are finding it difficult to locate sandwich meat in certain areas.

What shortage might we see next? There have been countless 'shortages' of one sort or the other over the last 2 years.

Another struggle for some businesses now might be seeing this trickle down into the supply after poultry farms had to deal with the fallout from the bird flu.

One recent support suggests that there are a few Subway restaurants that are already running short on supply of sandwich meats. Might we see grocery stores face the same issue after the impact in loss of supply the market faced this year?

Some products like ham and roast beef cold cuts are scarce already for these businesses and the issues are believed to be linked with a supply issue related to production.

Supply chain issues might be another factor. There are also higher prices that they are seeing in these categories too.
