The rising cost of living around the world today thanks to inflation and eroding purchasing power along the way has been pushing millions of people into lower standards of living.

This means more individuals and families struggle to afford only the basics and in a place like the UK right now it is estimated that some 2.3 million or more adults might be unable to eat each day thanks to the difficulty in affording food and more goods and services.

In countries all around the world there are billions of people who are severely struggling with the fragile standard of living that seems to be continually worsening as more central manipulation takes place over the years. In some places like Sri Lanka they've recently had their PM resign after a wave of heavy protests over the economic situation in the region there.

With the standard of living for many worsening it means more are choosing between eating or skipping those meals and going hungry to save money.

The demand on community resources like food banks has also been going up as more look to supplement what they can no longer afford. Affordability and the cost of living are a top issue with voters worldwide right now and that leaves an opportunity for promises to be made as to who is going to "fix the problem" using yet again even more centralized interference.

As those economic situations worsen and more people struggle to afford keeping food in the fridge and a roof over their head we can be sure to hear repeated excuses from politicians and the media that the pandemic and situation in Ukraine alone are to blame for everything.

Some experts have suggested that this cost of living squeeze could push us even further toward a mental health crisis that has already been worsened by the lockdowns and pandemic.

To make matters worse, the cost of therapy at that point is going to be yet another issue that individuals will be struggling with as they try to navigate these difficulties that have arguably been largely created and worsened by others who pretended to have the best interest of the people in mind.
