Authorities in many places are still not ready to recognize the medicinal benefits that cannabis has the potential to offer millions. And in Indonesia, they've announced that they have plans to reverse a decree that had listed cannabis as a medicinal plant.

Despite the millions of people in the United States, Canada, and other countries, that are already using cannabis for dozens of reasons related to physical injuries and seeking physical healing from one ailment or another, the people in this region are left without that freedom because of the decisions of a few.

Drug War Failure

They say they want to address drug abuse and that's the reason for the changes, but cannabis has been shown to possibly help with addressing drug addiction, among providing other possible benefits.

They've criminalized drugs in the region for decades and still it hasn't achieved its goal, it never will. And people are left with their liberty infringed upon and families broken apart, innocent and peaceful people murdered by the state over this plant. It is an injustice upon humanity, the violence that the government inflicts because of cannabis growing and exchanges. The people deserve the liberty, freedom, and basic right to make the choice for themselves what they will use for healing their own body.

It is a level of freedom not practiced in many places in the world, even where you think legalization would be overflowing with freedom in that market you unfortunately find it's quite the opposite. Thousands of rules and restrictions still remain in that legal market and thousands of people are still arrested over growing and selling.

Drug decriminalization is neccessary around the world, not just in the United States.

There is undeniable positive economic potential that can come along with that change. From growing cannabis or 'hemp' and the many jobs that can be created, products that can be produced to help bring value to millions.

Removing those restrictions on the cannabis market would be a move that offers the freedom for individuals within the market then to use that plant to try and address the thousands of problems that people want help with. And it's doing a great job already in places that have allowed for cannabis decriminalization to some extent.

The state never had any right in the first place to ban people from consuming or growing cannabis. This is a victimless and peaceful action and these rules make patients and peaceful people into criminals when they shouldn't be.
