Americans on average have been found to have about $62k in savings, but there are other surveys that place it a lot lower. Some have found for example that for retirement many have less than $15k saved and millions worry about how they are going to make it.

So far the pandemic and following inflation have been extremely worrisome for millions of people around the world.

Most Americans don't plan on boosting stock investments this year

According to one recent study on the topic of finances it discovered that many Americans are not looking to boost their stock investments this year.

Only about 18% were looking to increase their investments.

For many it simply might not be a choice. There are numerous cases of rent prices increasing, along with price increases in multiple other areas of the market. This increase works to further squeeze those budgets for millions which has made it harder for them to choose where they want to put their money.

Over 60% Of Americans are estimated to be living paycheck to paycheck

This means many are not able to handle any emergency that might come up.

For many Americans their top financial priority this year, according to recent surveys, is going to be paying off debt and saving for retirement because no one else is going to meet that responsibility for them and they know it.
