Affordable rental housing is difficult to find these days and it's estimated that almost half of Americans cannot afford a one bedroom right now.

For those who cannot afford their housing and who continue to struggle to keep a roof over their head this has tremendous consequences to their mental health and well-being.

People might delay putting off starting families because they are uncertain of their financial future and continue to feel the squeeze when it comes to paying for basics like rent, food, and other necessities.

Millions of working Americans today still cannot afford rent and food and they rely on food banks and the generosity of others to help them get by.

This stress is pushing a growing number of Americans today to reach out for help when it comes to their mental well-being and there are a lot of resources out there that are dedicating to helping those in that time of need but finding the right ones might not always be easy.

While Americans struggle to afford their basic necessities like rent and food, their government has no problem being foolish with spending their hard earned money, giving it to one corporation or mega church after the other, regardless of if the people support that move or not.

For one of the wealthiest countries in the world they have millions of Americans struggling just to afford the basics like rent, food, clothing, transportation etc, and these people are continually being pushed out of the dream of home ownership and realizing a better standard of living for themselves.
