Companies today might not be on every social media platform but it is obvious that some can do a lot to spreading awareness for the brand and company.

Twitter is one of those companies that many use this way and one that a few companies might not be using enough.

There are also different strategies to post unique Twitter content alone instead of re-posting the same content to different media platforms.

For a company like Tesla, it looks like they started awhile back to ramp up their Twitter activity and it has paid off massively for them in seeing more of an audience, gaining attention and awareness for the brand.

As many have reiterated, if you are going to post education and entertaining content then it might not take a long time for that to attract more of an audience and grow awareness and attention around a brand.

Some companies credit social media like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc, for driving a significant portion of their sales and for this reason you could argue that without that avenue they might not be as successful or they might have failed altogether. Social media like Twitter and other platforms are a great tool for companies today to use but the most important thing is the content that they are sharing about the goods and services. Will it sell by capturing that desired attention? Will it strengthen the brand by educating the consumer more on the goods? There is more than one way that it can be used to find more success.
