Restaurants around the U.S. are facing an extreme labor shortage right now, as well as other companies that have been in the news with their myriad of hiring practices and benefits they have been offering to try and drum up some interest.

For some restaurants they are now turning to robots to help fill that void, they've got no other choice if no one is interested in applying for the job. It might not be that many were choosing to embrace unemployment benefits over taking a fast food position either, and now that unemployment has run out they're going to head back to fast food working, because that sort of position just isn't appealing anymore to many these days.

You can already find robots that are being used in restaurants and hotels around the world.

It was just a matter of time before more would embrace the robots at the restaurant space and the pandemic has helped to speed things up with the current labor shortage.

The restaurants who cannot fill those positions have been having to close down or shorten hours because they don't have enough people to serve the demand. And if people aren't willing or not interest to take those jobs then it will be easy for the robots to come in and take them as they're doing now.

In Florida, Texas, California, and other areas of the U.S., business owners are turning to robots to help fill that void. They need more help to keep up with customer demand for their products.

We are going to likely find these robot waiters and assistants in a growing number of industries over the next decade.

Not only are the robots taking the boring, unwanted, and repetitive jobs, but they're also saving those small restaurant businesses money along the way too. There is still a lot of room for growth as far as the modernization of restaurants in the market today and incorporating robots into the service mix is one quick way to improve on that.
