Cannabis is seeing sweeping reform around the United States with many more areas now looking to get into the business.

They want to tap into this lucrative market that has billions in economy activity to offer communities who embrace cannabis freedom.

In Virginia, lawmakers want to back a move for seeing cannabis legalization at least 3 years ahead of schedule.

They've already got plans to see legal cannabis by 2024 for adults in the area. But they are looking for the governor to push that up now and possibly bring in changes for this summer.

A New Cannabi$ Market Coming Soon?

They will focus on decriminalization first and then focus their efforts on legalization, but some say that this is a bad idea.

VA officials might make some amendments to the bill and we might see drastic cannabis changes in the region within just a few months from now.

In New York, NJ, Texas, and other areas, cannabis reform is taking place. This doesn't mean that people still aren't being arrested over plants though, they are and still will be. Legalization doesn't mean there won't be severe restrictions still in place regarding the daily life of activities involving marijuana.

If they see a full recreational cannabis market then that could mean another cannabis market seeing hundreds of millions or more in revenue.

Again though, we can expect that the new cannabis market is going to also end up being a rigid license process with only few given permission to enter into the cannabis market to explore that opportunity. We have seen this too many times in the cannabis market as legalization has unfolded to assume that it won't happen here too.
