The interest is growing around the world for bitcoin salaries, there are now several politicians in the U.S. that are taking their paycheck in btc, as well as athletes, and who might be next? There is also news that a new law pending in Brazil would allow workers there to accept bitcoin as salary.

Could Brazil be next to make bitcoin legal tender?

El Salvador made history when they were the first ones to do it and now there are more people with bitcoin wallets there than traditional bank accounts in the region.

Cryptocurrencies offer a solution for millions of people around the world who are unbanked. They provide convenience and a pathway to get into the market and that is what we have been seeing over the last decade or more since its inception, that is has provided a solution to those who are unbanked.

Not everyone who appreciates cryptocurrencies or bitcoin is happy to see them used as currency, but this hasn't stopped many from valuing bitcoin in that way. To either get paid in bitcoin or use bitcoin to pay for goods and services.

Over the last decade we see that more companies have started to offer bitcoin salaries and other cryptocurrencies, and it seems that the interest is growing especially with popular announcements being made in the media highlighting this potential option for people that might be available.

It's estimated that there are tens of millions of Brazilians who do not have access to traditional bank accounts and banking services, bitcoin could provide a solution to this.

More information on what might happen with that pending bill is supposed to be coming in the next few weeks.
