How HIVE Is Changing Lives

Hello my fellow HIVERS, what an amazing day it has been for this wonderful community. I'm here to tell you about how HIVE is changing so many lives and how it is the best community to be a part of right now.

My name is Dylan aka drabs587 and I have been here for just 4 short months and wow has it been special. First off I come from the Splinterlands community and love the people there, one day while hanging out in @clove71 stream she was mentioning about how to earn crypto by posting on the hive blockchain. I had no real idea what this entailed and was not savvy in spelling or blogging so I was very unsure and nervous about doing it. Finally, after being in the community for over a month I felt I needed to speak up and talk about how amazing the Splinterlands community was and that turned out to be the first post and blog I have ever written. I was still very new and had no idea about markdown tutorials or anything like that so I just posted one big run-on sentence but it came from the heart and to me, that was all that mattered.

I didn't look much into the earning side of it and was not committed to posting a lot as I was more focused on Splinterlands and playing that for the time being. As I kept posting though I got more involved in the awesome community and started to forge some awesome relationships with quite a few people here, looking at you @pixiepost. So I kept blogging finding inspiration right and left and meeting more and more awesome people along the way.

As I kept up with it I started to learn more about blogging and tried to refine my skills more and more with it, reading things like the ultimate markdown tutorial and what makes good content. I still didn't know if I was really making good content but I was always excited to make a post that I felt I needed to share. As I kept with it I got more upvotes and my payouts were actually starting to blow my mind, I couldn't believe by blogging and networking I would actually be able to earn something from it but I was. This was all so new to me but anywhere I turned in this community there was always someone to help whether it was to teach or to promote it is truly special.

After about 2 months in I started to realize how badly I wanted to be a contributing member of this community. I started blogging as much as I could it wasn't every day but things like the Splinterlands weekly challenge and some meta-analysis were things I started out with. I wanted to grow my HP more and more every week so I could start to upvote and curate the amazing people's hard work over here.

Now 4 months in I'm at 191 HP and still growing it has been a truly life-changing experience and can't wait to see where I am in 1 year's time. I'm definitely not the only one as I know members like @ivarbjorn and @cmmndrbawang have been touched by this amazing place and have also started on the same journey as myself. It is such a special place that begins with all the incredible members here supporting each other and making this platform grow to new heights each and every week.

People can talk about what they like most from gaming to crypto, to things that have happened to them in everyday life. I'm constantly finding more and more communities here to subscribe to but as a whole what HIVE has done for so many of us can never truly be appreciated. It is power to the people by the people and I look forward to being here to help that cause.

HIVE Hitting New Heights

Yesterday HIVE soared to new heights again hitting a whopping 3.34$ I was in the HIVEPIZZA discord when this happened and everybody was jumping for joy. I was hanging out with @thebeardflex and @huzzah 2 of my favourite members that I have met here in this wonderful place and we along with a bunch of others were jamming in the music hangout. If you haven't joined their discord what are you doing, it is nothing but fun times and good vibes and they do a ton of pizza and hive giveaways in there. Come join it today and meet some of the awesome members over there HIVEPIZZA Discord. They have so many fun activities from trivia in the general chat to movie night, to whether or not pineapple should be allowed on pizza(I'm team pineapple).

Overall this massive pump in HIVE was amazing what drove it I dunno as I'm not a market guy or anything like that. But what I can tell you is the community behind it is like no other I have been accepted with open and loving arms and can't even begin to thank all the members here for what they have done for me.

I think this is only the begging, I believe people are starting to flock here and see how life-changing it can be from earning from your posts to supporting an awesome community and feeling good about it. I wake up every day excited to jump on and connect with the people here which is far cry from where I was just 6 months ago. I was in a dark depressive state feeling sorry for myself not working in 2 years and really giving up on life. But since finding out about the Splinterlands and HIVE communities as a whole has reignited my passion like no other. I am now blogging every day and look forward to growing this community as best as I can.

I still don't know how to go about so many things in life as I have not been a smart or motivated person for most of it but this place has completely changed my outlook on it. I still have so much to learn but everybody here makes it so easy to do just that.

Final Thoughts On HIVE

Overall I couldn't be more optimistic with all the amazing communities and people behind it I think HIVE is ready to keep on soaring. We may see some dips here and there but that is not for me to predict. The outlook is shining bright, more people are learning about it each and every day and it is driving traffic up like crazy. I don't think it will be long before we are seeing eye-popping numbers and growth we already saw a glimpse of it the other day and there is a lot more to come. I hope you are here for this incredible ride because it will be special and look forward to sitting atop the mountain with all of you.
