Una anécdota que recuerdo, es llegar de Barquisimeto y se los mostré a unos amigos con los cuales me estaba tomando unas cervezas y ellos dijeron “Que siga la fiesta Alberth carga mucha plata”. Recuerdo que para aquel entonces podría llenar un carrito de mercado con los Bolívares Ciento Veintisiete Mil Seiscientos Ochenta (Bs. 127.680,00) que es el monto que suman los billetes y monedas de esta colección. Para guardar el billete de Bolívares Cincuenta Mil (Bs. 50.000,00) lo pensé mucho porque con este era de mucho valor, pero el poder de ahorro era grande y considere esto como una inversión o un gusto por seguir creciendo en mi hobbie.

Este cono monetario circulo desde Diciembre de 1.999 hasta el 31 de Diciembre de 2.007, su circulación se dio como respuesta a la pérdida de poder de compra del bolívar, razón por la que se decide la ampliación del antiguo cono monetario en 1.998 y se imprimen en la flamante Casa de la Moneda del Banco Central de Venezuela billetes de Bs. 1.000 y Bs. 2.000, siendo estos los primeros billetes con el nuevo nombre de República Bolivariana de Venezuela.

Las monedas con características similares a las a las que se venían utilizando desde 1.873 y para Diciembre de 2.006 aparece la primera moneda bimetálica tanto en Venezuela como el mundo, para mí una moneda muy llamativa y original. Tanto así que acá en Venezuela muchas personas las tomaban y trabajaban con sus manos hasta el punto de realizar anillos con ellas, eran muy buscadas por las personas con esta finalidad.
