We overlook digital security.

When we start making money and then it keeps growing one thing that will be on our mind is to secure our money from a thief or any other person that might want to use dubious ways to get this money from us. Securing our money will be our priority, we find means to secure it by using banks and some other private companies we can invest or save our hard earn money but the same can't be said about crypto.

People do crazy things to secure hard currencies but we don't take crypto with the same passion after my friend invested one thousand dollars into a BTC and move it to trust wallet he nearly loses this because he could not remember where he save his phrase on time. This guy is not careless like that with fiat.

It all kills

People make these mistakes because we assume anything digital should be secure, most of my guru crypto friends believe that Binance exchange can never be hacked. They know leaving your asset on an exchange is not safe but they do it anyway because they truth CZ and everything he is doing.

Those that lose thousands of dollars or millions of dollars because of security are not a fool but at a point, they believe what is not right and assume it can never happen after seeing obvious facts. We choose to follow our hearts instead of our head. Most people know not your key, not your crypto but we still choose to invest in such projects without considering the risk and we lose our assets.

Profit or security

So many projects out there offer amazing apy but we choose to overlook the security side of this project because of the return when we lose all our hard earn money in the process the big apy won’t matter anymore, we learn the hard way.

Anybody that overlooks security is no risk and that person is just stupid, in this era where hackers and scammers are looking for opportunities we must be careful always and even if the project promise a better tomorrow and the security are not good we must never invest, our money might not make it till tomorrow.

Pay the price

We are not ready to pay the price by doing our research, and spending time on what matters in the long but we choose YouTubers or friends to decide our future by listening to them without us doing some of this work. Doing the research yourself doesn't guarantee safety but you will know where it all goes wrong and you will make amends by learning from it. This will help us grow in the right way.
