Some few days ago I was pondering on the past generations and the slavery they suffered, I realised the cuffs and chains weren't what actually made them slaves but the inability to make decisions. The chains only served as a restriction to how far they could go, which indirectly denied them freedom. After some years, men were liberated from the so-called slavery, the chains were broken and the cuffs loosed, people believed slavery has ended since they could walk with no chains tied on their feet and no restrictions to how far they could walk, this day of independence became a remarkable day for the countrymen, but did slavery actually end?, Some may say yes, and some might object, it all depends on our individual definition of who a slave is, a man with chains and cuffs or a man whose freedom is suppressed either indirectly or directly?.

Governments were put in place to govern the affair of the country, its resources, and the people. The power became centralized. To secure this position, the people in power made a constitution that gave them more autonomy over the people while making the system complex , gradually they started to make laws that regulated what people should do and it kept increasing with time as they enjoyed the authority they rested on. Modern Slavery came into play as greed overshadowed the interest of humanity. The government dictate the people, loot the resources and disassembled the country deviating from the purpose to which the government was established.

Centralization is a modern Slavery in a grand style. We broke the chains but our will is been suppressed, we made loose the cuffs but our mouth is zipped. Again, we've returned to where we started, libertarians trying to restore back freedom we claimed we've won. If truly we are free, why would the world have libertarians, to what usefulness will they be?. They say "you no longer wear chains, you're not beaten and denied food, we are always here to listen to you, your priority is ours" - A technique used by modern slave masters.

Democracy is not what we enjoy today, if you're poor in the society your words wouldn't count, the masses are neglected but stand in the podium and profess love for the country they've disassembled. Decentralization is the answer to modern Slavery, we have a voice and it should be heard. Centralization has made us shrink into our shell unable to voice out because we are afraid we'll say something wrong. But how's the world going to hear us if we don't speak out, and how would it become a better place.

Let's write it on the paper, let's sing it out until the world hears us We have a voice.
