Today many hackers take advantage of existing vulnerabilities in computer systems and thanks to this they have seized many millions of dollars, today I want to share my personal opinion about what really happened in this attack guys, it was not only a common cryptocurrency theft but the hackers claim that the company has been laundering for a long time and that is why the hacker has taken the decision to steal more than 100 million dollars and refuses to return them.

The Harmony company has offered 1 million dollars to the hacker to return almost 100 million dollars that he has stolen in different tokens and other cryptocurrencies, in addition the company wants the attacker to disclose the vulnerability he found in the bridge to the Ethereum network, I find it absurd that the company offers so little money to reward a programmer who has managed to steal more than 100 million dollars, not only that friends, the Harmony company also assures "that it will not raise legal charges" with the hacker if he returns what he stole, do you really think that this hacker is such an idiot? Playing with a hacker is like playing with fire folks and especially hackers of this magnitude.

When this happened the U.S. authorities alerted all cryptocurrency exchanges to constantly monitor all the wallets they have regulated and if they notice anything suspicious the exchanges will immediately notify the corresponding authorities.

What does the hacker have to say about it?

The programmer assures that he will not return the money stolen from the wallets because his intentions are simply other guys, the real intention of the attack is that the company reveals its true business to its users because information has been leaked that assures that the company was mixing cryptocurrencies with the mixer a very well known transaction mixer worldwide called "Tornado Cash" with which they have mixed more than 15,000 ETH guys.

I personally think that the hacker should not return the money to the company until the company improves its security because many users invest their money in these large firms and this should not happen in any system where there are millions of investors.

If this continues to happen it is estimated that the company may lose credibility and close its operations, I have always said that on the internet there is absolutely nothing that is 100% safe, it seems that the hacker is white hat and only does it to alert users of the platform and other users who want to invest in this company.

I must mention that this has been a very low blow for them and it will take a long time to regain the trust of all their users and future investors, this has been the end of the company from my point of view guys and if the hacker refuses to return the money for a long time, then this may prove fatal for the company, but hopefully this will not happen again and everything will get better for the company.
