Why is coingecko's price data for EVMOS so wrong?

I mainly use Dexscreener, Coingecko and Coinmarketcap when I'm checking out prices for stuff.

I like Evmos a lot and I've been staking on the Evmos mainnet for the past month or so since the 1st airdrop to try and earn evmos to keep stacking more. I really believe in the longterm future of evmos.

Now that I have said that bit, I was surprised to notice that between the 3 price tools I use, Coingecko still has a clearly incorrect price data history for evmos, which is skewing a lot of numbers that people may be erroneously checking on Coingecko's site...

Just take a look....I've never seen prices just made up before like this.

Now, compare COingecko's chart to Dexscreener's EVMOS/OSMO chart...

And, finally, take a gander at Coinmarketcap's chart.

What is going on? Did Coingecko try and shake out Evmos holders somehow? We all know that price sites get paid to trend tokens...so was someone paying Coingecko to make it look like Evmos pumped 400% in an afternoon and then dump it all? Or is coingecko just incompetent?

Anyway....you get 420% APR right now staking on eVMOS right now, I've been earning and stacking every day on the Chandra validator https://app.evmos.org/staking

Here's my referral to Firebird Finance as a thank you for reading my rants:

I actually took an ad out on Presearch to promote Firebird (and my referral). You can see my ad if you search for "Firebird" on PreSearch. Pretty cool!
